This was awesome! It was amazingly crowded with people but all a great time and wasn't disappointing. Going back in October when mosquitoes are done. Great 1st time experience.
It's just an ugly, rutted up area with a lot of trash from disrespectful visitors. The light is fake and has been proven so numerous times (it's just headlights from traffic on US-45). Don't go here expecting a pristine experience.

Running bear is so wonderful accommodating and understanding. Just down to earth good people helping everyone enjoy the U.P.! I will alway try to stay here when I visit the u.p. We have been snowmobiling here and even fall trips to see the beautiful
Beautiful falls and easy to find trail off the road. Trail leading to the falls is well maintained and it is part of the North Country Trail. It is about three miles out to the falls and back. As it is part of the NCT it does not loop back to the pa
