5 stars all the way around. I called ahead to make sure I didn't need to pre-order. I did. I asked for their recommendations and was told the VLT was a fan favorite. I went with it. I arrived 15 minutes later to my pizza complete. The guy behind the counter (sorry I forgot to ask his name) was polite and attentive. He asked if I had been there before and offered me a free shirt. He then asked why I hadn't I been there before. I shared I was from a different town and started working 10 minutes from there. He allowed me to try 3 different vegan sauces and their well-seasoned vegan meatballs. 10/10 I highly recommend.
A friend recommended I visit this places and I asked does it compare to Grimaldi under the Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn and they said yes. I ordered a pie with Buffalo mozzarella. I told the staff I'd eat it when I got home to Brooklyn but it never made it out of CT. It's a small business, with good customer service and great attention to detail. The pizza had thin crust and very natural ingredients and was the bomb. As an aside, I read some of the negative reviews. If the service experienced on a given day is not perfect, there's no need to weaponize a review with one star. A 5 star review makes the business receiving it, want to do better and go the extra mile. A one star review is petty. If you didn't like the food or service, don't visit there again. I'll revisit this pizza joint again. The place was clean, the bathrooms spotless, had outdoor seating and ample parking.
I come here relatively regularly (both dine in and take out) for pizza. It is always absolutely fantastic! Dining in I’ve never had a problem with service and taking out have never had any issues with waiting a long time or wrong orders etc. They do not skimp out on any toppings that you want and they are always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend. There is a great vegan selection also!
First time here. Ordered the Florentine, Omg just the right amount of lemon chicken and spinach. Don’t let me forget the amazing menu, You’re sure not gonna find his pizzas at a regular pizza place. Prices are very reasonable, and the thin crust is scrumptious. Kiddos to the chef and staff. Next time I might try the magic mushroom. Definitely would come back and highly recommend to anyone visiting Stratford area or just want a different delicious pizza.
We stumbled on this fantastic place by chance and what a pleasant surprise. Great menu, wonderful vegan options and really friendly/attentive service. The food was fantastic and the service equally so. Would highly recommend this and its definitely worth a visit.
I own a brick pizza oven and have been making pizza for many years. The Parlor Joint’s pie competes with New Haven’s best. The crust, the proportion of toppings, the management of the oven…. perfection. Give this place a shot and you will be back. They also have a mobile operation (pizza truck) to cater parties. Outstanding pizza!!! And they have a copy of Strega Nona nearby for the kids. -Gary
When we heard there was New Haven style pizza in Stratford, we had to come see what it was all about! I was impressed by the thin, light crust and the amount of variety on The Parlor’s menu. Some of our personal favorites were The Florentine and The Buffalo Chicken. The Parlor really nailed the presentation on every pizza as well. Their salads were fresh, and the fried Oreos were great for dessert. I think it’s great how many vegan and vegetarian options are available too! A very casual place to come hang out and enjoy pizza. Wishing them continued success!
Delicious. A gem in Stratford. We ordered a medley off the menu and we were not disappointed! There was not ONE slice left. The owner came over to check on us, asked who the birthday girl was, and then gave me a t-shirt. Bonus! I will be wearing it! So good. Highly recommend.
Loved this place! We ordered fried calamari (highly recommend it with JIM'S Way sauce), small cheese pizza with mushroom and linguini with whole clams and white sauce. Food and the beer (Wrench by Industrial Arts Brewing Company) were delicious! The
Excellent academy ! Very family friendly. And overall amazing, kind, loving people. They are very open to visitors too. A great training environment, very positive.
The best of the best! Friendly service, tasty vegan menu options, and the very best teas hands down. I visit every day that Iâm in CT. Very highly recommend!
A very beautiful park, not too far from the river. There are many buildings on the site, each owning their own uniqueness that paints a history filled picture. An outdoor electric train setup with a few different small tracks. A small chapel, veter
I stop by everyday to view the water. Still nice. Love the low tie and when I can I surf fish. It's connected to the housatonic river so for sure you will catch some Blues and striper.
Love the seawall. I went on the day when town had Halloween parade for the kids. Many kids in wonderful costumes and saw many kids walking on the seawall. There is a 2-hour parking limit closely monitored by the local police. Since my visit was way i
My friend and I popped in to Cricket Car Hop for lunch one weekend and found it to be quite the hidden gem! Itâs remarkably clean, and they have a great menu. Most importantly, they use Hummel hot dogs, which are my favorite! I made my own hot dog
We went to Panda House Christmas Day and enjoyed a fantastic meal. The food is excellent, from the chips to the main meal. Full menu at great prices. Nice atmosphere with efficient wait staff. Give it a try! Youâll be happy you did.
Awesome bar with great food If you love aviation this is your place, located right next to a runway you can sit back and watch the planes go by outside!
Visiting the Post office for mailing i found it to be pleasant with minimal wait plus the staff was very knowledgeable, helpful with a smile. I even purchased some nice collectible stamps thank you for making it easy.
We had a wonderful winter stay at Surfside. We had a waterfront double queen room that fit our family of 4 perfectly. We all enjoyed dinner at the restaurant on site - little pub, and brought many warm layers for the 3 mile round trip beach walk to
