Been with this apt for over 2 years and one of the most beautiful community in Austin. I really had no issues with the apartment and the maintenance requests are responded within a day mostly. Melissa & Angela from Leasing office we very helpful and available to help if need be. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for a beautiful, quite and stressfree apartment.

We've been living at The Part at Monterey Oaks for seven years now and we love our apartment. We started off in a one bedroom back in 2013 and upgraded to the largest two bed/two bath with an office in 2017. I've shopped around and this is the best bargain for size, location, and quality of life. Many of our friends have said, "your apartment is nicer than my house." The details are what make these apartments such a great place to live, the painted walls, coffered ceilings with crown molding, dark laminate floors, and wainscoting. I counted seven closets in our apartment! Our apartment is an end unit with a private patio and makes it feel house-like. Maintenance issues are taken care of immediately, the office staff is very accommodating, and the grounds are always clean. There is a mile long walking trail which includes a track. What has kept us in the apartment for so long is location, location, location. We've never found anything that matches the proximity of the grocery stores, whole foods, Costco, restaurants, and a quick commute to downtown.

We LOVED living here! Beautiful property and walking trails super close by. Everything we needed was in the vicinity with some great restaurants to boot. Incredibly dog friendly with a little pooch park and apartments with nice yards. The staff in the office ALWAYS did everything to help us out no matter the issue. The maintenance team is SUPERB and timely on everything. We are extremely grateful for the fantastic team working here! When the power went out for almost a week due to a winter ice storm, the office provided hot lunches for folks, daily emails with updates and resources, plus rented out units that did have power for showers and phone charging. They even hired extra security to maintain safety! Thanks Park at Monterey Oaks for a providing a safe, clean and friendly community. We felt taken care of every step along the way!

Recently leased an apartment here for my oldest daughter who is still a student and also working. Can't say enough great things about the complex and how easy they made the process of finding an apartment, applying and moving in. Megan in the front office was amazing--- friendly and top notch customer service. Thank you, Megan and thank The Park at Monterey Oaks.

I’ve lived here 16 years through several management companies. I moved to a smaller apartment in March with way less rugs to help my allergies. What makes this community is friendly people and a great management team. The big attraction is plenty of walking room including the large track and walking trails plus the inside car paths when the grounds are wet from rain.

I have reported a hate crime against the Park at Monterey Oaks for what they did to me. They earned this one star Google review by harassing the hell out of me and apartment management making up lies throughout the community. I was stalked by my neighbors for over a year. I am certain after several months that they are satanists and the community has done nothing about it. I have not lived 1 day in this apartment without experiencing stalking. When I told apartment management, they called the police to accuse me of insanity on my birthday. After realizing I wasn't crazy, they replaced the sub-flooring in the unit above me (where a group of people were incessantly and maliciously stalking me, my cats and everything on television for over a year). My car was keyed in the community parking lot and they deny it outright even though someone also smashed the window on the car next to mine. I am 100% sure it was the same sadists in 132, who I was unable to record wishing evil upon me constantly from the day I stepped in the door, but I did provide proof in the form of a Google Drive with recordings of 13 times they dribbled a basketball indoors on my ceiling just to be bad neighbors and that was completely ignored. The neighbors ignored over a dozen cops at their door and apartment management immediately sided with the stalking party. You will need a dash cam to even live near these sociopaths. Despite all of this, the apartment complex did absolutely nothing to help me or even apologize for the stalking and harassing that they made much worse by attacking my sanity. I have filed a hate crime report with APD for my own protection because these malicious sociopathic stalkers yelled at me and threatened my health all day, while I lived alone in my house. I had to train my cats to deal with harassment constantly and they are only 8 years old but they have a better concept of boundaries than these stalkers that I now find have keyed the roof of my car. Instead of police ever confronting them, they left the door shut during alcoholic or crack fueled rages and laughed at me as they engaged in gang stalking, harassing me directly with no end. They think it's funny and that the apartment will never punish them because Britnee Brockman & the regional manager are directly responsible for attacking my character with a lie, instead of dealing with the sadists that still live upstairs. So far all apartment management has done is make up a rumor that I'm crazy on my birthday, which is still being repeated by idiots that refuse to stop stalking me under any pretense and have already resorted to damaging my belongings. I am very happy to be out of this community, even though they charged extremely absurd fees from my security deposit because they are the most immoral apartment management I have ever had. They charged over $300 for a broken piece of wood... and also charged me for trash that they didn't pick up because I had to leave my trash can inside after already moving. I love my new community and this is the worst place that I have ever lived with the absolute worst management I have ever had the displeasure to interact with. I wish I had never moved here. I was harassed during all of my remote jobs and they even yelled insults at me while my manager was on the line to influence them. Everyone involved in management should be fired. Shame on all of you. You will answer to god.

I loved these apartments until apparently they got new management. Suddenly all of the good feedback from tenants stopped. I am one of them that is very frustrated about the lack of care and communication about concerns and flat out disregard for their mistakes. I had the lovely experience of having an old appliance (freezer) break and by the time it was all replaced and after complaining that it was leaking was told the maintenance was new… So long story short my fridge and freezer was filled with water that froze and ruined all of my food. I had been complaining about the issue for days and have never heard from management about my issues no matter how much I try. Update 2/22/2023: The apartment also installed “leak sensors,” that are supposed to send off an alarm (similar to a fire alarm) when there is a leak… The alarm goes off randomly and today has been going off non-stop for hours. As someone who works from home this is beyond annoying and flat out making it impossible to do my job. I would also like to state they installed a “smart door lock,” which when your power is out still automatically locks for a few hours after the power is out so you cannot leave your apartment. Also, you cannot lock the door manually when leaving your apartment when the power is out so you are completely vulnerable to theft and or worse. And unfortunately it seems like the power grid in Austin is becoming less and less reliable.

I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about this complex. The price is extremely reasonable considering the Austin market right now, great location, beautifully well kept property (currently undergoing a facelift too!), and helpful staff. I think one of the biggest inconveniences at any complex is a poor maintenance team, and I gotta say the maintenance team here at the Park are THEE BEST I have ever dealt with. I've never waited more than a day for service, and in most cases they have come same day. Very friendly, very helpful. I would not be moving if it wasn't for me getting a bigger place with my partner. Only things I could say about this place that don't quite hit the mark is the fitness center (old and dated, poor equipment), and the pool is completely covered by shade from the trees. I understand the trees are the charm, and they look great! Just not ideal for sunbathing on the weekends. Overall, I've loved my time here, and if I ever found myself needing to get my own place again I would most certainly apply again.
