A little confusing to find if you are not already staying at this beautiful hotel, it’s in between the buildings and up the stairs. The inside is small with limited seating but the porch outside has seating as well and it’s really beautiful to sit at. They have some food and baked goods and coffee here, we all got a baked good and they were pretty nice tasting but not the best I’ve ever had. I found the prices to be a bit higher here but overall this place was a really nice stop.
Average food and low quality coffee balanced by the picturesque location. Prices similar to Manhattan!
Lattes were 4/5 filled and machine operated by button. Still looking for a nice espresso machine for coffee in the island....
I recently visited the Pantry in Jekyll Island, and had a delightful experience. The bacon egg and cheese croissant was delicious, and the service was excellent. The charming adjacent store provided a pleasant distraction as we waited for our food. Overall, a good spot for a tasty bite and a cozy atmosphere.
The pantry was a little crowded, we ordered food to eat outside on the patio around the hotel. For the price we paid, we did not get much in terms of portions. Especially when it came to the desserts. The cheesecake was tiny and we were disappointed about that. The people were nice, however. It's just like every place else everybody seems to give you less for your money.
Great croissant breakfast sandwiches and chocolate muffin. The smoothies were great too even if a little pricey.
We have only stopped in for snacks so for this trip but they have all be excellent. If they have it available their sweet potato cheesecake is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Ordered the Salmon BLT minus the B. Got more tomato than salmon on it and hardly any salmon. The description mentioned caper mayonnaise, but the “mayo” looked and tasted like a spicy mustard. The sandwich was extremely disappointing, especially for the price. Was still hungry afterwards.
Also paid $5 for 2 small bags of chips. Overall impression: overpriced and dull.
We enjoyed a Cuban sandwich and a slice of Key Lime Pie. The prices were reasonable and the staff friendly.
This is THE place to shop for unique gift items. All items are handmade by local artists, and there is quite a selection to choose from. The inventory is changing all the time, so if you see something you like, you better grab it.
Jekyll Island is a wonderful place. We took the trolley tour out of the Mosaic museum. Our guide was informative and entertaining. The homes and grounds of the club have to be seen to be believed.
We took the tour of the club with Sherri- great experience, so many fun facts and historical knowledge. You can tell she loves talking about the club with guests. Highly recommend.
