our first time here, no complaints! breakfast was delicious! we ordered the smoky nest panini and avocado toast, (separate orders but we split it) a hot chocolate and mocha latte!
Exceptionally fresh scones, cookies, and other pastries with wonderful service. I've been coming to Owl's Nest for a year. You won't find a coffee shop with fresher baked goods or such consistently good service.
We got the Tempeh Reuben and Oly Salad here for a take out order. The salad was incredible…very hearty and the garlic sauce was tasted. The Reuben was also very good..the onions did over power the taste a bit and I wish the bread was softer but still enjoyed it a lot
First time at The Owls Nest and I was not disappointed. I got the buttermilk biscuit and jam as well as a strawberry shortcake scone (around $11 total with tip). Both were very tasty. If I could afford it I’d eat there every day! They had a lunch menu on their door that I was unaware of or I would have ordered lunch from there. No worries, another day! (I only looked at the menus online and on reviews to see what they had before deciding to go.) The staff was welcoming and washed their hands before helping me. Space inside for customers is cozy & small. Mugs, granola and other treasures for sale too:) all plantbased!!!
It’s a lovely little shop. Alas I am not a vegan. I need my salt and cheese and butter in my scone so my expectations were different. Loved the sweet little china dishes, friendly staff and fresh tomatoes in my scone, but for me (see above) it lacked the flavor my southern girl roots expects in a scone. That’s said, please support this place. A little pricey $5+ for a scone without tip, but hey everything is $ these days. Will try again - the mushroom cocoa intrigued me!
just moved to Olympia and so happy to find the Owl’s Nest. Best pastries (vegan too!!) and amazing coffee with a really nice vibe. I have already visited three times in two weeks cause it’s just my favorite. The drink specials are fun also- last weeks was lavender latte (oat milk for me) and this weeks cardamom vanilla. So good. Grateful for this lil coffee shop in the heart of Olympia. —— Updating my review because google won’t let me leave another 5 star review. A year later and this remains our favorite local coffee shop! They continue to have delicious drink specials and their new lunch/breakfast menu is SO good and love that it’s all vegan. The owners mom (I think name is Diane) is so sweet and welcoming and made us the best pumpkin spice latte and London fog today and just had the best vibes. Thanks Owls Nest for creating such a cozy and delicious atmosphere- a sweet little place to get a treat after a hard week at work.
Such a huge fan! I am not vegan, but I do love food, and oh boy is there food great! Great taste, great quality, and and just delicious. Do not skip a beat and come here for a morning pastry and coffee. You won’t regret it. The owner and employees are the absolute sweetest. I’m just so happy! Thank you for sharing your love of food with us Shelby!
This is a cute little coffee shop in downtown Olympia. The drinks are great here and the pastries as well. Terrific service - the baristas are so friendly.

I loved the special of the month called sweater weather. It was an old fashion inspired latte with single malt whiskey syrup, and barley malt topped with Spinnaker bourbon, chocolate curls. It was amazing. We also had the savory croissant with grille
What a great local coffee/ tea shop! I've been wanting to stop into this place for such a long time and finally got my chance today. I got an ice mocha with oat milk. I have to say that it tied for the best iced mocha I've ever had in Olympia! It w
I discovered this place had affogatos! And had to try it out. I was not disappointed. Vanilla ice cream could have a little bit more vanilla taste, however it had perfect texture and consistency. Espresso shots were good. Great affogatos and an excel
Absolutely love! Been craving a real pumpkin spice latte and found one right here for the first time this season. Sweet people working there and running this small coffee shop. Be here daily as a new habit if I lived in the area. Highly recommended!
WOW - the Brew Crew here are so friendly. And if you start coming a few times a week they will remember you and your drink. They have a KETO - sugar free blended mocha with heavy cream. Ok I had a cave in when I saw the Sâmores cookie. A great l
Yummy, yum, yum! I stopped in yesterday, my first visit, and was surprised and pleased by the simplicity of this bakery: gourmet scones and biscuits to go. I ordered two of each scones options: lemon, Hawaiian, and vegan chocolate chip. All gluten
My husband and I took beginning swing lessons and loved it. I liked how you rotate partners, as each person teaches you a little more. We had a lot of fun and got some exercise, too! The teachers are entertaining and patient. I'm looking forward to
best cortado in townâif that matters to you then this is going to be your favorite coffee shop! this place is so genuine and cool without even trying. i love that the space doubles as a gallery with its consistent rotation of art and ceramics. itâ
It's definitely worth visiting! The staff is amazing, I took cash out so I didn't need to use my card when we visited the gift shop, but I was short 84 cents no biggie was gonna use my card, but the lady insisted I not use my card for such a small am
Love this cute little cider house! It can be a little tricky to find, but worth it. They have several types on tap that rotate and several by the can/bottle. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable, I should have brought more cash to tip her!
Wow this place has the most amazing Smoothies & Avocado toast that will leave you wanting more!! I ordered the Morning Burst Smoothie & the small Basic Avocado Toast. First the Morning Burst Smoothie is so yummy that you forget it's even this healthy
This shack is a combination of many good parts that when taken together make something exceptional! The burgers, fries, shakes and customer service are all superb. A very cool place that is well worth the wait. I got the cheeseburger with an egg and
Very nice atmosphere and with cool general vibe. The pastries are indeed very good and have a good French vibe from back home. The prices are pretty reasonable and I'd definitely recommend taking the croissant. The coffee is nice as well, but is not
A very pleasant place to hike. Make it as short or as long as you want. . 5 to probably 8 miles pretty easily. Some easy paths, some more treacherous if you want. Not a swimming beach, but very peaceful walk (hiking shoes highly recommended if y
I trained here until my Mom died from cancer and I went into massive depression then I canceled my Full Use Monthly Pass. I wish I hadn't! Bobby was an amazing friend who would take the time to explain something as simple as a minor foot position to
