Excellent Eggs Benedict. Huge pancake variety, including potato pancakes. Ten minute waiting time for breakfast at 11 am on a Father’s Day Sunday; very impressive in this area where you can easily wait 30 to 60 min. The restaurant was packed and the waitresses were struggling to fulfill every order, so our service wasn't perfect but our food was delicious. We will definitely come back!

The Pancake House seems to be one of those places that if you don’t get the signature dishes you’ll be greatly disappointed. I got the apple pancake with some bacon. It was delicious! It had a custard-like texture since it was thicker than the buttermilk pancakes. My wife got a waffle with some ham and felt that it was no better than an eggo waffle. When they had some of the apple pancake they wished that they ordered that instead! While the apple pancake was great, the atmosphere reads more like a fast food joint rather than a cozy breakfast place. For a Sunday morning it was empty with just us and 2 other tables. Service was middle of the road for me. When all was said and done we paid about 80$ for the two of us. For me, that’s too expensive for the experience.

Had an awesome breakfast at The Pancake House in Diversey. The place has a cozy vibe, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are fair and the quality is worth it. Perfect for a satisfying breakfast or brunch.

Excellent food choice and quality. Flavor and texture just right. I like the Southwest skillet because it's so savory tasty AND I can get it with pancakes that are so satisfying. Very few tables occupied at 10:30, which I appreciated.

When I moved to Chicago (20 years ago), a colleague recommended OPH for Saturday brunch. That meal was AMAZING - fast forward to 2024, I'm pretty certain I've ordered every item on the menu and maybe visited twice a week. There's great food & great memories for you too..

It's a great spot for a casual breakfast or brunch. While the service was just okay, the tasty food more than made up for it.

Descent service, great clientele, and clean. The Apple pancake lacked apples and the bacon was not thick as advertised on the menu. It was dry and cold. The coffee was not great. The staff prefers Dunkin and Starbucks as you can see from the pic. With tip and tax $74. Crazy! The Texas toast was great.

The Apple Pancake is just amazing, I’m visiting Chicago, and I had it twice during my visit. I just don’t like the place, the interior design is not very interesting.
