The Original Pancake House - Breakfast restaurant in Fort Lauderdale - 2851 N Federal Hwy, USA

This is a great place for breakfast! It is very spacious, has a lot of seating, and has a great variety of food options. They had the impossible sausage, which was very exciting! Our server was really nice, and the service was pretty fast. I would come back here again and would recommend it.

Went here for a late breakfast. First time ever at the Original Pancake House. The Place was not to crowded and we were seated right away. Waiter was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. Ordered the coffee☕️. We only waited about 20 minutes for all of us to get our food. For 6 people the bill was $110.00 with a tip.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! My family and I had breakfast here on our visit and it was delicious. I ordered the Strawberry French Toast. My son ordered the Apple Pancake (takes 30 minutes to make) but it was SO worth the wait. Eggs were cooked exactly like I like them. We were totally satisfied. The service was good.

Very delicious! These are scattered around the u.s. and I've been to a couple now and they are all different but so good! This place was pretty crowded but they sat us fast. The staff were very friendly. They have tons of options for b-fast and lunch... we ordered strawberry pancakes, rainbow pancakes, pigs in a blanket, eggs with Turkey sausage, pecan pancakes, and an omelette with extra cheese... oh and the breakwhich that came can be shared depending on hungry you are! The orange juice is literally squeezed before your eyes. I would recommend!

This is very original! The Original Pancake House has something for everyone including the everyday breakfast favorites and of course no other than delicious pancakes! I sat in the corner booth at the Original Pancake House nursing my hangover with black coffee and an unlit cigarette. The restaurant entrance opened and I looked up. She walked through the door like a tigress walks into a Burmese orphanage — strawberry blonde and legs for hours. No dame her age could afford a coat like that, and the kinda makeup she had on gave me a good idea how she got it. She had bad news written on her like a headline from October '29. "Take a load off sweetheart", I said and pointed to the empty seat across from me. She sat down and ordered the Huevos Rancheros with M&M pancakes. "Guess I was wrong about you 'toots; this food is delicious" I said. She told me to give the place 5 stars. Who was I to argue?

We enjoyed our visit to the original pancake house. The location was easy to find, parking was adequate and we didn't have to wait to be seated. All if the ingredients in the food here are so fresh. They even have a machine near the back making fresh squeezed orange juice. The food came out hot and timely. The pancakes were fluffy and simply perfect. We enjoyed our breakfast. I was extremely unimpressed by the quality of food overall. The prices are extremely high for what should be a mid price diner. I ordered flapjacks, bacon, a coffee including tip. It was $27. I requested the bacon to be extremely crispy. It came out very floppy. The quality of the bacon was extremely low as it was mostly fat and not lean meat as you would expect they charged $6.99 for three slices of fatty bacon. The flapjacks were decent but nothing great. The best part of the meal was the service was fantastic. Otherwise they would get a one star for this breakfast meal. As someone who travels an excess of 70,000 air miles per year, I cannot in good faith recommend this restaurant.
