This was my favorite place in California for a long time but after trying out other breakfast places in the Midwest, this place is no longer on my favorites list. Unfortunately the pancakes were wet and mushy instead of fluffy. The corned beef hash was really good, the flavor, the seasoning were perfect, but the portion is towards the small size (or we wish there were more but there wasn't even enough to share). The pancakes are so rich so after a few bites it was just hard to finish. Hot chocolate has free refill which is great but it is also very rich and very sweet. We also got the hash browns and eggs and that was tasty too. If you are around the area then visit before 7:30am. (on a weekend) otherwise there will be a wait. Any later and you will wait forever. Btw coffee is absolutely horrendous but free flowing.
So, I'm finally getting around to reviewing this amazing establishment! Sorry for the wait folks!! This place is amazing, I don't normally trust many places to satisfy my very picky breakfast needs.... normally I don't even eat breakfast. This spot was a on the spot recommendation from a Disneyland valet who heard me say I try to support local spots. He was spot on, the pancakes were oh so fluffy! And my God, I felt so guilty not eating all of it but I was not prepared for the size! This isn't a big place but it is pretty spacious if that makes any sense. Parking is probably my only nay about the spot. They do offer what looked like an outside dining option in the back but we did not need it, ask nor were offered. Portions are insane! I barely was able to consume half of one of the two I received! The service was so friendly and accommodating and I commend the entire staff for being so quick and with good energy at such an early time in the morning! My coffee was delicious and they made sure it was never empty! They offered me to go boxes which I immediately said yes to! I know if I'm ever in town again, which is usually around October, I'm going to revisit and always suggest this place! Thank you so much
My first task whenever visiting a new area is to find the best, small-time breakfast spot to hit up with my family. The Original Pancake House did fantastic. The packed parking lot on a Thursday morning assured me we made the right decision. Adequate street parking surrounded this joint so it was no issue finding parking. We were seated quickly even though the place was packed. Coffee, orange juice, and water started us off. Following, some pancakes, hashbrowns, strawberry crepes and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and some thick cut bacon filled us up. Everything was top notch. Cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly, and exactly what you need to get your day started. I wouldn't hesitate to stop by to get your day started here. Our waitress was busy but still kept our coffees topped off with a smile on her face. 10/10.
Food was good, wasn't anything extravagant or over the top, but had good taste. It was ready pretty quick service was good prices where not to bad either. It does get pretty busy, hard to get parking at times. I got their at 10am on a Friday had a 30min wait..
We loved this breakfast place. The one in Roseville closed, and we are glad the locations in Los Angeles are up and running. We had scramble eggs with ham and potatoes, coconut pancakes, and our favorite and delicious crepes with fresh strawberries. This place is amazing. The food is great, and the service was awesome 👌
Don't let the worn out cover scare you because this is the best breakfast family-owned restaurant out. The atmosphere gives you that home cook vibe, while, the service is better than what you would receive from your grandma. The food does not come out of a can as the corned beef hash is homemade and seared to perfection. Their bacon and sausage links are also some of the thickest I've ever seen. I promise you you will have the best breakfast experience I know I did.
When we are in the Orange County area we always make it a point to visit this location. Each OPH has a different menu. The biscuits and gravy where something else. Melt in your mouth perfection. Light and buttery. Their bacon is sourced differently than the other locations. More meat than fat but smoked to perfection. The potato pancakes were delicate and went well with the ham & cheese omelet. I added a side of hollandaise sauce and squeezed fresh lemon in place of salt. So good!
My wife said the omelette was one of the best she has ever had. So fluffy and delicious. My kids absolutely devoured those perfect pancakes. The butter was high quality, and the syrup was phenomenal! The sausage patties were also of superb quality. You would be hard-pressed to find a better breakfast in Anaheim. Though it is a traditional diner, it is very clean inside and the customer service was really good. The bathrooms were also very clean. This will be a stop for us anytime we go to Disneyland. It’s a little on the pricey side, but well worth it.

I was in town for a conference and did a drop in. The instructor (Josh) did a great job of educating and walking us through the movements. We did a dedicated strength day and worked on our deadlift form which was much needed. I really appreciated the
