You definitely will not leave hungry and you will leave with leftovers Nice little restaurant busy staff friendly staff food comes out hot and fresh to give you rolls with cinnamon butter while you're waiting your salad is hand tossed in front of you steak nicely done needs a little more salt and pepper I believe but still was very good the chicken and Parmesan very good the kids enjoy the pizza and soup and we were given free pumpkin pie which was very nice I highly recommend this place if you're in the area reasonably priced good food and nice staff

I ordered the steak and baked loaded baked potato. I also had the soup and salad. The soup and salad were very good, and the salad was fresh. The steak was well portioned but a little tough. The baked potato came plain, and all the parts that made it loaded were on the side. Everything was hot and didn't take long to get after ordering. The staff was OK. My main complaint is when I arrived at the restaurant there was an elderly woman trying to exit while using crutches so I held the door for her and when I walked in I seen 3 ladies at the receptionist desk just talking and using there phones instead of helping the nice old lady who was hung up in the door. So with that this will probably be my last time at this restaurant.

I’m giving 2 stars rather than 1, only because the service was good. The food not so much. In fact it was the worst breakfast I have ever ordered. I ordered a corned beef hash omelette, diced potatoes with onion and toast. First thing I noticed when the food arrived was the potatoes were not like any potatoes and onion I had ever gotten at breakfast. They were FROZEN potatoes fried with some cooked diced onion threw on top. They tasted like they had been fried in old (gross tasting) oil. The omelette came with bell peppers and onion(unlike anything I had ever seen). I told the server I did not want peppers in my omelette. She informed me it came like that but would take it back and have it made without peppers and onions. Side note I did not see any CBH in that omelette. She returns shortly with an omelette. An omelette that was the grossest thing I have ever put in my mouth. The eggs were so way over cooked. An omelette should be yellow in color. This was brown.. so over cooked it changed the taste of the eggs. And as for the CBH there was barely any in the omelette, even after taking out the “filler”(peppers and onions). I asked for a box and left. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING. I wish I would have went with my first idea and went to Broadway Diner. Maybe then I would not have wasted $18!

Ok The only reason why I gave it four stars is because while I was using the bathroom there was a roach crawling on the toilet. But other then that I ordered the country fried steak, Philly cheese steak, salmon rice and beans, and the new york cheese cake. So the philly cheese was a bit greasy but tasty, packed with meat and onions. I absolutely loved the cheesecake. My only issue is the women in the kitchen handling food with no gloves while touching their faces and or adjusting headphones it's unsanitary. I had a chance to meet the owner he was a stand up guy, very nice and personable

Went here for breakfast, ordered the country fried steak & eggs over easy with diced potatoes/onions and toast. This was a very good experience. Received a large portion of country fried steak and it was smothered in sausage gravy which I haven't seen before but I enjoyed it. The toast was buttered somewhat heavily which made it soft...but there again I like butter on my toast. Upon leaving I was offered a cup of coffee to go, another nice gesture, which I appreciated but politely refused. Best of all the price was reasonable. I didn't have any high expectations. But for my surprise was very good. My country fried chicken was super juicy. Sweet potatoes fries nice and soft and crunchy inside. Awesome bread. Delicious soup and salad.Also great costumer service. Our server was very friendly.We will definitely come back.

Excellent diner in Bartow. We tried the steaks and enjoyed them. A nice cut of beef with lots of flavor and cooked exactly as I requested. Two for one specials on drafts and wine. Welcoming atmosphere with excellent, friendly service. A Bartow tradition.

A little disappointing. The job site has a safety meal for about 15 the day before and the sirloin was definitely in the top 5 of my life! The green beans were also in an impressive top 5 (with 24 years of travel). Tonight, I tried the salmon on a waitress recommendation with a request of "please don't overcook" as all restaurants typically do... they still did. Plenty of Bourbon glaze barley saved it from a send back. Tons of bacon and onion for the safety meal green beans, but a different story tonight with a few tiny pieces of onion and 1 piece of bacon... still pretty good, just let me down a bit.
