I recently stayed at Opus hotel and had a generally positive experience with a few minor drawbacks. The room itself was quite nice—spacious, clean, and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The gym, however, was quite small with limited equipment. It was fine for a quick workout but not ideal if you're looking for a more comprehensive fitness routine. The pool was alright—clean and well-kept, though nothing particularly special. One thing that caught me off guard was the high service fee and delivery fee for in-room dining. These fees weren't clearly communicated upfront, so I was surprised when I saw the bill. The food was decent, but the extra charges made it feel less worthwhile. Overall, it's a decent place to stay, especially if you're primarily concerned with a clean and comfortable room. Just be aware of the extra charges if you plan on ordering room service.

I needed a safe, comfortable place to stay while attending a birthday celebration over the weekend and this is exactly what I got. Really nice for a romantic getaway, friends or family. There are restaurants, stores and a movie theater in walking distance and a great mall just 5 minutes away by car. The hotel itself is gorgeous! Customer service, start to finish has been on point. Literally from the valet to the desk to the bartender at the lounge, I could not have been happier. There is a spa, gym and pool here. All actually open which shouldn’t be surprising but you have to ask nowadays so I’ll save you the trouble.

For our anniversary, we decided to head out of the city for a quick staycation and chose The Opus Westchester. When we got there, the lobby was packed as their system was down to a Verizon outage so they were having to check in everyone manually. We weren't in a rush and knew it was out of ours and their control, so we had no issues waiting! There were a few parties ahead of us but it only took about 15 or 20 minutes to get us checked in. A bellman helped bring our bags up to our room which was nice. Our room was fabulous. Super spacious and bright. The bathroom had double sinks, a deep tub and a shower. The toilet was in its own little separate room and it also featured a vanity space, which I especially appreciated as my toiletries and makeup didn't have to take up all the sink counter space, and my husband could get ready while I do my makeup and hair without us crowding each other. The valet service was always pretty quick and everyone was helpful and friendly. The entire hotel staff were lovely, especially considering the frustrating technical difficulties they were working through. The morning we were checking out, I did call asking for more towels that never got sent up to us, but it really wasn't a big deal. The location was also great; close to lots of restaurants, shopping, and coffee shops. All in all, it's beautiful property and we would definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at this Marriott from 8/22/24 - 8/24/24 and probably had the worst customer service experience ever. I would NOT recommend this property! And this is coming from someone who has been loyal to Marriott for the last decade. My wife and I booked one of the largest suites this property had to offer on the 3rd floor. Suite 315 to be exact. We stayed here as, my wife's sister was getting married near by at Tappan Hill Mansion. The suite we booked is where the bride and bridal party got ready the day of the wedding. The following were all mishaps that occurred: 1. The sales team never followed up with my wife to confirm a catering order for the morning the bridal party was getting ready. Bridal party had to uber eats breakfast . 2. The day the glam squad arrived, the hotel did not offer to have the bell hop assist them up to the suite. I had to go personally downstairs and load their bags to the cart and bring them up to the suite myself. 3. Getting ice to fill the cooler that house the drinks the girls would be drinking while getting ready was mission impossible. 4. Later that evening, when I asked for an extra blanket and pillow, because my sister was staying in one of the 2 bedrooms in the suite, the hotel stated "we have no more blankets or pillows available". 5. Lastly, and this was the icing on the cake for me. Coming off the elevator on the third floor it had smelled like someone had vomitted on the carpet. I had informed front of staff early on and they did nothing to remedy the situation. Just had to take in a foul smell the entirety of our stay. This is not a luxury experience in any way, though they market themselves as a luxury hotel. At over $800/night I would have expected a better experience. I've had more pleasurable experiences at Marriott Residence Inn.

The hotel offers a magnificent experience. The room and bathroom were clean, neat, and fresh. Service, from check-in to check-out, exceeded the standards of a 5-star hotel. Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick, with all staff members being polite and smiling. The individual who handled our luggage provided superhero-level service. Our stay on Thursday, 18/7/2024, was truly outstanding. Thank you.

I have to admit I was a little worried about them changing the hotel from Ritz-Carlton to an autographed collection hotel being platinum late. No. I know a lot about Marriotts but I will tell you that the hotel was absolutely sublime. The remedies were done over lovely. The people were just as professional and went above and beyond everywhere. She from the possibly could all around thumbs up from every Vanessa to check-in Tao at the front desk and even the housekeepers and even the lovely girl at the other end of the phone when you call for reception all five stars.

Do not stay here!!! We parked our cars with valet around midnight and everything was fine with both cars. In the morning they told us one of them wasn’t starting and the valet employee admitted they had tried jump starting the car 3 times before we had came down. (Nobody notified us or asked us if they could jump the car) When we went to the car we found that they had jump started it improperly or to the point of blowing out all the fuses and someone had attempted to mess with the wires as well (completely cut as you can see in the photos). The car would not start at all because of the damage they caused. We spoke to the front office manager Shah who was helpful throughout the whole process. Our issue was with both the Valet Manager Harry who after repeated attempts said he would send over insurance claim forms and never did again as you can see in the photos. I also emailed the General Manager twice only to be ignored and not get a response. As a property knowing you caused thousand of dollars in damage to someone’s car and not even trying to resolve it is an embarrassment. This is disgusting that this is how you run both a company and a hotel. This happened July 5th it’s now September 6th and we still have not received any resolution.

Ive been to the opus before even when it was the ritz Carlton. Sorry to say the service of what this hotel is now, is very disappointing. I paid almost $800 a night for a room facing a wall, that had no robes, coffee maker was disgusting and dirty, the AC did not work properly etc. The front desk was very blah when I told them I'd like to change rooms, she gave me the old "we're fully booked". You will never get above and beyond service here. We ate at their restaurant Kanopi. The food was not good, they served us burned chicken fingers. We were barely even catered to. We ordered ice cream, they brought it but didn't give us spoons so we watched it melt in front of our eyes. There was one guy manning the bar and restaurant. Next- their pool under repairs and they don't tell you this before booking or even at check in. This stay was a colossal waste of time and money. We hoped for a relaxing fun time but all we got was bad service from beginning to end. Next time I'll Stay at a less "fancy" hotel. Only fancy by name. You should be ashamed Opus! I'll never return!
