We went for New Year's Eve so we had a special menu. The food was DELICIOUS! Everything was well crafted and offered amazing flavor combinations. It is a sea food oriented restaurant. The staff was very nice and helpful in describing the dishes. I would recommend and go back without hesitation.
This is our new favorite restaurant. It started with Joe at the front with his friendly wonderful warm welcome. It was our anniversary and he sat us in a lovely private booth. JJ was our server. He answered all of our questions told us about everything on the menu and made perfect suggestions. We had the scallops swordfish halibut with blue carb and hush puppies. We couldn't decide which we enjoyed the most. The chef is a genius. For desert a delicious pineapple upside down cake complimentary for our special night. I highly recommend eating here.
We’re visiting Nashville and our family took us to their favorite restaurant. The ambience is great and our servers did a fantastic job explaining everything. The food was good but a few dishes that our party ordered were not good. The fish dishes especially need help. Only Flounder came out good. The waiter didn’t charge us for the fish we didn’t like. So that was a great help.
Wonderful restaurant and awesome atmosphere. I enjoyed a cocktail called Bird of Paradise. I chose to have the Whole Flounder which is de-boned at the table. It was juicy, fluffy and the brown butter was exquisite. Great place for a beautiful dinner!!
Went here for a date and honestly it didn't disappoint. Highly worth it. We had fresh oysters, the gumbo (not pictured though super well flavored) we had the chicken with prune, scallops, broccolini, fairy salad. Plus the drinks we had were well made! I personally don't drink and the waiter Jordan accommodated for me and I really appreciated that. Had a few mocktails. So nice of him. Recommend Jordan
This place was a gastronomic delight. We tried a little bit of everything and I enjoyed everything I ate. The octopus, tuna poke, smoked oysters, mahi mahi, halibut, hush puppies, rolls, green beans. The table beside us had fries and I decided to order those for dessert. Lol There were only 3 desserts on the menu and none my husband and I liked together so the French fries seemed like a good choice. Honestly, I had a difficult time choosing an entre, they all sounded amazing. Happy with my mahi though. Side note, the mains are not huge portions and sides are ala carte so definitely order a side or two. I wanted about a dozen rolls but I restrained myself. Cocktails were delicious. Especially the El Rio Bravo. Atmosphere had a cool vibe and service was excellent. Our server, Earnest, was fabulous. The bathroom music was hilarious, was not expecting that. Parking can be an issue so arrive early just in case. Great special occasion restaurant too. Also great for larger groups.
Really impressed with the flavors and quality of this fine establishment. I’d come to Nashville just to eat here. If you love seafood, this place is a must try! Highly recommended
Cool restaurant with a fish house vibe. We enjoyed our time here. Octopus and shrimp a la plancha appetizers were very flavorful and prepared well. We thought that the main courses of halibut and whole flounder, while well-prepared, were somewhat bland/under-seasoned. Hush puppies and field peas were great! Coconut pie and chocolate cake were also really good . Overall a good spot. May stay with just appetizers next time or do some oysters, but probably not making this one a go-to spot.
