This place is so amazing and authentic. I just got back from Athens and this tasted the same as I had in Greece. The gyro meat is so tasty and perfect. We had the loaded fries as an appetizer and it was truly loaded. I've never had servers as attentive as here, our drinks never got below half full.
We ate there for lunch on Sunday around 11:15. Easy to get a table. It got crowded later. The food was excellent, cooked perfectly. The service was very good. They kept your glass full. The atmosphere is a family restaurant. Can get a bit noisy. We recommend it. You can dress casual at lunch.
Pros: large menu (both savory and sweet), huge portions on everything, good value, very nice ambiance, plenty of parking, plenty of seating Cons: savory food is bland Dessert is where it's at. They have a large dessert menu and the desserts are fantastic, particularly the Never on a Sunday. You need to come here just for that; it's a collage of flavors and textures that just works beautifully and it was easily the most delicious thing I had there. Their coffee drinks are also pretty good; the "Greek coffee" is basically Turkish coffee, the Nescafe frappe is a sweet coffee drink mixed and served over ice, I recommend both of these. The savory food was a bit disappointing. The lamb shank was very tender, but lacking in flavor. The "Greek fries" were more like thin potato rounds than dries, and most of them weren't seasoned. At least the chicken souvlaki had a nice grilled black pepper flavor, even if the chicken was otherwise unseasoned. All the staff were great... except for one time I heard the manager yelling at wait staff to hurry up. Service was fast (even before the yelling). According to the menu, after 6pm you are required to order a minimum of $14 worth of food--or else they will charge you the difference--so do be aware of that if you're there for the belly dancing shows.
Delicious!!! Order the big plate and share; it has a lot of food! Don’t get the lasagna though I wasn’t a big fan. In my opinion it had a weird texture. Also the Alfredo pasta is super good.
This is THE Greek restaurant to come to. It’s my favorite ❤️. The food is amazing. I came here with a group of 20. Nobody complained. The service is great too. Robert is always a great waiter. I ordered the lamb 🐑 shank with linguini and a side of spinach with rice casserole 🥘. Delicious 😋!!!!
What a great experience, went on a Saturday night and they had belly dancers, and got people up to dance. Very good service with recipe and waiters, very friendly and enjoyable night. We will definitely come back even though we live in Denton! Try this place if you like Greek and want to have a fun night out.
Very good Greek food with a vibrant atmosphere. Note this is not a great place for quiet conversation or a relaxing meal. Entertainment, music, and loud conversation makes this a fun place for families and groups to have good food and an energizing experience.
Our 1st time here and it didn’t disappoint! The food was great and authentic! The vibe and atmosphere was on point and the show was awesome and the icing on the cake. Only had 2 improvements- it was a little warm inside for me and the coke tasted weird or flat. Otherwise perfect! Still gave 5/5 stars bc everything else was on point! Service was great! Never went below a half filled cup of water! The bread/rolls were amazing! Our waitress was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations! Would definitely recommend!
