Great little B&B that is centrally located in Pacific Grove. Walking distance to cannery row, the aquarium and the monarch butterfly sanctuary.
The rooms were clean and everything worked well (for such an old house). We had no problems. There is a nice sitting room downstairs and a beautiful patio where you can watch the butterflies and hummingbirds.
The staff was very helpful and there was always coffee and water in the lobby. Be sure to talk to them before you head to the aquarium. They were most helpful.
Location is the only benefit to staying here. Can walk to anything you need and only a block or so from awesome ocean views. The room was very dusty. Can tell they just do a quick clean, the dust on the bedframe isn't just from a week or two. Rug in room needs a deep clean. Bed was super comfortable though. When booking small bed and breakfasts I expect the cleaning to at least match big chains. For the price, this place was a miss.
What a beautiful B&B!
Stayed for one night, but wish it could have been longer.
There is a beautiful garden with seating as you walk up to the property. I saw many hummingbirds flying around.
The inside is cozy and clean. My room had an incredibly comfortable bed and a huge tub with jets.
Staff was lovely.
Hoping to return for another stay!
The location of this inn is great. Walking distance to the beach, nearby trails, great restaurants. Angela was also very nice and gave us a warm welcome.
Unfortunately, I will not return. We stayed at the Otter Cove Room and it had that really old, moldy house smell. The carpet under the bed also looked like it wasn't vacuumed very well. The windows have no screens so if you open the windows, you're inviting all the bugs from the garden (which is lovely) to come into your room.
And finally, the bathroom. Honestly, if it wasn't for the bathroom, I would have better memories of this inn. The water pressure in the shower is the lowest I have ever experienced. I honestly did not even feel clean after showering there. I understand it's an "old" inn, but they could at least renovate the showers. The water trickled down from the shower head. Maybe showers in other rooms are better, but in the Otter Cove Room, it was horrible. The towels also had a blonde hair on it (my husband and I both have black/dark brown hair), which made me feel so gross after already using it to dry myself.
Positive: So charming! Wonderful staff. They made a special breakfast for me every morning to accommodate my food allergies. A block from the ocean. Beautifully appointed. Extremely comfy beds. Negative: Not really.
The location was great and had easy street parking. The wifi was good at about 20mbps; I easily held a zoom meeting. The staff was friendly and accommodated our early departure with a very nice to go breakfast (croissant sandwich with egg and veggies) since breakfast isn't until 8:30am. The Land's End (garden room on Priceline) was quite small but very clean. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. We could shower, but it was slow going. The walls are quite thin, and we could hear footsteps above us. Overall, it was good for a night.
An amazing place! The hospitality is beyond expectation! Everything you could think of is ready for you in advance. Laundry, homemade cookies to grab all day, hot chocolate and coffee, a living room with a fireplace, and a welcoming garden with a place for a fire. The place is beautiful! Warm and relaxing.
My wife and I just spent one night there because we work during the week. This place was so cute and quiet while being two blocks from the ocean.
The staff was very kind and helpful which is what you want when you visit a new place.
My wife especially loved how cute the room was and did not care that there was no TV present. We would definitely be going back in a couple of weeks!!

Staff was friendly. Room had plenty of space and was remarkably quiet. Enjoyed the gas fireplace. Best part was walking to the beach. Pacific Growth is a cute town and close to everything you would want to see or do in the area. We would stay again.
Beautiful B&B in a perfect location! My husband and I spent two nights in the Marie room which has a gorgeous ocean view. It was so peaceful lying in bed in the morning watching dolphins and sea lions swimming in the waves and the seabirds flying thr
Cozy, lovely place. I enjoyed my stay there a lot. Well curated design/materials in the rooms and public area, I liked the attention to detail. Furniture and rooms are in very good condition, beds are comfortable. The building is quite old and you he
Wasn't sure what to expect, so I'm trying to give as detailed of a review as possible so that hopefully whoever sees it has a good idea of what they're paying for.
The rooms were smaller than expected. But if you're intending to be out the whole day
A wonderful place to sit and reflect. The crashing waves are always intriguing. There is a path between several benches in the area. A great place to enjoy while on a coastal walk or bike ride.
First time experiencing Maxâs grill and the food was out of this world! Definitely going to be a repeat customer whenever we pass through Pacific Grove/Monterey. Absolutely amazing customer service, beautiful and cozy atmosphere. 10/10 would recomm
Very nice place in the middle of the city. Lots of trees and fresh air. A lot of little trails to follow. I didnât have my dog when I visited but lots of other had theirs with them and it seemed like an area that is good for a dog to run around in.
This is some of the better pizza I've had. (We got the My Sausage Garden gourmet.) The crust is nice and crispy on the bottom, so it holds up against the toppings. The toppings tasted fresh, the sauce was rich but not overpowering. Really, really goo
As usual, my wife and I turned up at the busiest period with no booking. The place was packed to the gills. Asked for a table and told it would be a 20minute wait. Browsed the menu while seated at the bench and watched the locals enjoying themsel
Came here for dinner after spending the day in Monterey. This was such a pleasant surprise! All the dishes were very well done!
The grilled octopus was sooo soft that we've never had octopus prepared this way and yet you'd still get the grilled/smok
This restaurant was a rather choice in urgency. We arrived quite late in Monterey thus started late on food hunting. We didn't want to drive far so we chose the one with the most guests. We got decent food in big portions at fair prices. If you are n
The fish taco had grilled fish with lots of lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream, yum! Service with a smile and unlimited chips and salsa. Highly Recommend!
Great service, bagels and atmosphere! Our group had breakfast bagel sandwiches and burritos. Rave reviews all around. We also purchased bagels for the next couple of days and they toasted up perfect! Definitely comparable to an east coast bagel. Well
