The Oceanus - Rehoboth Beach - Hotel in Rehoboth Beach - 6 2nd St, USA

As first-time visitors to Rehoboth Beach, DE, we spent five nights at The Oceanus, and it was worth every penny! The room was sufficient (double beds my only regret), but the customer service was outstanding, and the two block walk to the Atlantic Ocean was a huge advantage in this charming beach town. The staff were perfect! We’ll definitely return to the Oceanus for our next visit to Rehoboth!

Usual hotel we use when visiting Rehobeth with friends. Always consistent. Great location as it is walkable to beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Pool area is nice and rooms are a good size. Friendly staff and well kept for a motel style beach hotel.

Perfect location. Very nice hotel. Great pool. Have stayed here many times. You can’t beat the price. If you are looking to hit the boardwalk and the shops without having to drive this is the perfect place to stay

If you're looking for a very basic room and don't mind a long walk to the beach this may be the place for you. Pros: no nasty carpet, room was clean, pool was clean and not crowded, quiet area. Cons: not a good value $$, lack of outlets and mirrors in the room. (If they added a mirror and outlet on the large undecorated wall more than 1 person could get ready at a time.) I'm definitely not a fan of having the sink outside of the bathroom. We had a problem with ants on the counter around the sink during our stay. They did spray for us but it didn't get rid of them completely.

Always pleasant experience, staff friendly and neat, rooms clean as well as pool and entire facility. The location is great. Parking is available to each room. Complimentary coffee and tea. We keep coming back year after year!

Traveled here with my soccer team(7 rooms/22players). Incredibly helpful staff, comfortable rooms, and in an incredible location. This is our 2nd year here and we will definitely return. The staff does an incredible job with customer service.

My mom and I had a great experience with this hotel on our trip to RB! The staff were friendly and clearly cared about the visitors, striking up genuine conversations with us and going the extra mile to answer our questions about future visits*. Our room was clean and nice with a lovely view (we could see the ocean down the street, and the sunrise in the morning!). The outdoor hallway serves as a lovely little balcony with surprisingly comfortable chairs and we enjoyed relaxing out there. The location is also great, we were able to walk to the beach, boardwalk, and all the restaurants we went to. One possible but navigable drawback: there are no elevators, so plan accordingly if you have an upstairs room! Maybe bring two smaller suitcases instead of one heavier bigger one, if you can. If stairs don't work for you, definitely go for a room on the ground floor. *We were asking about the ADA accessible rooms on the first floor to see if they would work for my brother, who uses a motorized wheelchair. Verdict: maybe? The space is a little small for a wheelchair like his to go through. But the woman (Jean, I believe) who was working when we asked about the rooms showed us the rooms, told us about the features, explained which furniture they would be able to move if it would make it more accessible, etc-- very kind and helpful!

We have been visiting Rehoboth for over 10 years and have always stayed at the Oceanus. Excellent facility, always very clean and well taken care of. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend the Oceanus!
