The Ocean Plaza Hotel - Hotel in Ocean Grove - 18 Ocean Pathway, USA

The Ocean Plaza Hotel is a lovely, comfortable, inviting, and special gem. We had a quick visit to attend a funeral and booked our stay by chance. It is such a charming place and the staff are so warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The spread for the 5 of us was incredible and so, so good. We are all grateful to have our short stay be such a comfort when otherwise we were dealing with grief. We hope to be back again to really enjoy the whole beach experience.

Enjoyed my one-night stay here! Lucas was incredibly helpful and friendly from the first time that I phoned in advance of my visit. He was so understanding and accommodating of my travel needs (including a pet!) as well. Nice breakfast selection and great that the hotel has a pet -friendly option available (in my situation, it was a life saver). Very close to the beach with views from the hotel suite where I stayed. The suite was vintage with gorgeous views and everything that you need. Highly recommend and will stay here again if my travels take me to the vicinity!

The perfect B&B! My family stayed here the week after Christmas to visit family near-by. My family (2 college aged kids) stayed in the Stokes Suite. My kids said the trundle bed was very comfortable (better than any pull out). The breakfast was wonderful - tons of options from quiche and hashbrowns to fruit and yogurt and was served on the 2nd floor. The location was so close the beach, Asbury Park, and the downtown Ocean Grove. The owners/managers were so helpful and pleasant - we will be back.

We have been going to an Ocean Plaza for girls weekend for about 15 years and have never been disappointed. This year was probably the best experience so far. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The common areas of the facility are well-kept, and the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, less than a block to the ocean and an easy walk to Asbury Park, Bradley Beach, etc. The breakfast had a choice of various egg dishes, as well as pancakes home fries, fresh fruit, pastries, muffins, and a variety of breads. I would highly recommend Ocean Plaza.

I chose this hotel because it was close to a relative’s place for Xmas. I wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. My room was on the third floor and was charming. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean and everything there worked great.. Good WiFi. |It has a bed and breakfast feel to it..|The breakfast in the morning is outstanding. It’s held on the second floor wraparound porch and features a lot of different options. |The place is a block from the beach. I’m sure some of the rooms offer a view of the beach but my room did not. As I was there in December,, I walked down to the beach for a look but that was it. |There is no official parking area but there are plenty of parking spots on the street near the hotel. This might be an issue in the summer season but that’s speculation. |The only downside to this place is no elevator. That wasn’t an issue for me but it might be for mobility impaired guests. I’m guessing they have a few rooms on the ground floor for these folks. |There also isn’t much sound insulation between rooms or floors. But that’s to be expected in an old building|I would definitely stay at this place again.

I stayed at the Ocean Plaza for a wedding I was attending at the Asbury hotel. The women in the office were absolutely delightful.!! Sooooo nice!!! The rates this time of year are very reasonable, and an unbelievable breakfast! Huge variety of food and fruit, great coffee. The bed was extremely comfortable. We plan on staying here again next time we are in the area!

We haves stayed there at least twice a year for the last 3 years. It is our home away from home. The owners make you feel so welcome. The rooms are always spotless. The breakfast always has many different choices hot or cold. We would not stay anywhere else in Ocean grove.

It's a house. It's a big house with a lot of bedrooms. As long as you know that before you get there you'll be fine, because it's literally steps away from the beach. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, so you don't have to share. And this is a very typical of the area. But we love this big house and come here often.
