I hesitate to even write this because the staff was WONDERFUL! The manager checked us in and was as sweet as can be, even at 12:30 AM. The bartender our second night was fabulous as well. The room was fine. Not as clean as I would have liked (some hairs in the bathroom) and the blanket was pilling. I believe they recently updated the hotel and you can tell improvements have been made but it still needs some love. The bed was comfy though. The location wasn't bad. Close to the highway and a Kwik Trip which was nice.
We were disappointed with our stay at the Oasis Hotel. It is conveniently located to Road America which is why I chose it. We had stayed there several years ago under different management & thought it was okay then. Our room was quite small, particularly the bathroom, with insufficient room to put out our toiletries. Our TV never worked quite right - couldn't get some channels that we should have been able to. The breakfast was really poor, as others have commented - no cereal, fruit or milk. The staff tried to help & were quite nice.
My spouse and I stayed here for one night for a wedding. While booking we were told that we could call the day of to see if we were able to check in early. We were hopeful for this since check in time and the wedding were at the same time. However when we called on our way there the person who we talked to said they don't allow for early check in (our ETA was an hour before check in). Minimal outlets in the rooms. Bed is not the most comfortable and is noisy (plastic crinkling) due to a bug barrier. Bathroom looks like a college communal bathroom and was not the most cleanly. The (carpeted) floor felt damp. And the worst part of our stay was the AC emitting a ridiculously loud noise. Our friends that were also staying there had the same issue only ours was louder. We have stayed in nicer hotels for $80... This hotel was NOT worth the $137 that we paid.
Easy to get to off the highway, quick check in. Had 2nd floor room, but already knew they had no elevator, staircases are convenient at the end of each wing, and a center one that leads directly to the pool area. Great pool and hot tub. Breakfast from 6-9 had bagels, toast, scrambled eggs and sausage, pancakes, but no cereal and milk (strange being in the dairy state and all).||Room was basic: 1 flat screen TV. microwave, fridge, hairdryer, desk and chair.
The property and rooms were ok, but for the rates it was a great value. Not too many hotels offering a bar and pool for their rates.
What stands out the most is the friendly staff! The general manager was very friendly, and went extremely out of her way to make sure my group was comfortable and had everything they wanted.
For a wedding in Glenbulah, my husband and I stayed one night at The Oasis Hotel & Bar. We chose it mainly b/c all of the hotels and B&B's near the wedding were already booked or insanely expensive. ||This turned out to be a very good thing ... ||I do road trips between Chicago and Florida 6-8 times per year. I generally stay in Hilton properties b/c that's where I get points. So, I can say confidently that this little hotel got *everything* right. The super-nice lady at the front desk let me know that the hotel had just been renovated, with more improvements to come.||When we got to the room (#215) the first thing I noticed was how clean--really clean--everything was. Freshly painted walls and ceiling, brand new clean carpet in the bed area, clean and up-to-date sink/toilet/shower area, no weird spots on the ceiling, no hair in the sink, no slow/gurgling drains, no holes in the walls, no wobbly furniture or doors that don't close properly, no spots on the sheets. The window A/C and heat worked with no issues, the lamps and television worked with no issues. These are BASICS that every hotel or motel should keep up with, but many do not. Even many Hilton properties. ||The next surprise were the two queen-sized beds that had four pillows each. New memory foam/innerspring mattresses atop a metal platform that didn't move, squeak, shift or sag. Again, this is simple stuff that many hotels don't get right. There was also a mini-fridge and a microwave we did not use.||This is not a luxury hotel. Far from it. This is what every hotel/motel used to be like back in the day. Clean room, simple layout, nothing fancy (i.e. no quartz countertops, etc). But it hit the mark in every way that matters. And it was affordable. ||The breakfast in the lobby was the only thing that was lacking. The hot items, eggs and sausages, looked OK, and there were some bagels and a make-your-own pancake machine. Missing was fresh fruit, cereal, milk, and yogurt. So, I went with a cup of coffee, which was fine, but there were no lids for the to-go coffee cups, so I had to drink half a cup and toss it before we got in the car. ||Overall, this place was a big win. We'll be back if we're in the area.
Smells and feels like a basement add-on. Carpet feels cold and damp . Painted cement walls . The musty smell is quite strong . Pillows are lumpy . Shower is hot and it is very quiet with the cement floors and walls . Staff is super nice . Breakfast is not worth mentioning. 15 minutes from a beautiful beach .
the rooms are sort of dirty with what i think wasnt vacuumed with what stuck in my feet , the furniture is cracked and we had a lamp in our room didnt work, the room felt very wet/moist… theres dirt and wall that has fallen off around the bathroom tiles and the toilet was not steady. the staff was very nice but the room was just not what we expected.
Could not have had a better experience at the Rochester Inn! Great location, clean and adorable rooms, and the best service you could ever ask for! The breakfast is top notch and everything about this place is just wonderful! Look no further than s
What a great place to visit. You might not see a ton of planes, but the history is there. The guide was pleasant and kind and knew enough. I like this place and it's at an airport so you get to watch planes takeoff and land throughout your time
My new favorite! This was our first time here! Salsa and chips, excellent. My meal was great! It was nice and hot! The rice which is normally dry at most places, was very moist an flavorful! I had a Manso Burrito and it had a wonderful sauce with. 2
Nice park. We rented the larger shelter. Great size but just so you know...there is no refrigerator like some shelters have. Lots of tables inside and outside. Lots of parking. Nice bathrooms.
This is a $300 golf course at a fraction of the cost. My Dad and I golf once a summer at a new course in the state. This course had the best service hands down. With our fee we got unlimited driving range balls and a bottle of water at the start of t

All so good! We missed one of our favorite places in Texas, so we made a stop for lunch. The atmosphere was chill and music in the background. Fresh delicious meal. I enjoyed it, and so did my husband. The server was friendly and kept a fill of our d
