Came here for brunch to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Make reservations beforehand. The buffet was very impressive, and the serving staff was very polite, diligent, and customer-oriented. We walked around the resort/compound after. The grounds and rooming/spa/ restaurant options are all diverse and top-quality.
Excellent "Bluegrass" brunch. The quality and options at this buffet were superb. Roast lamb at the carving station particularly delicious...and all accompanied by great music under the oak tree.
What can i say, just beautiful. Looking out on the flush golf course, and The mountains. The food and company were great. I definitely will be back to try some more.
Huge portions.... Even half portions when I split with my wife were plenty! Great service, magnificent location... Lawns, delicious! Very romantic on a warm evening on the patio!
Breathtaking outdoor seating views seated facing the back 9 of the golf course. Came for lunch and it was very hot. The food was delicious. Only issue I had was that I wished the lunch menu had more choices. I ordered the fish of the day, my wife ordered the Pomodoro pasta and my 3 year old daughter ordered a hotdog and french fries.
Sat outside on Christmas Day which was totally fine with the heaters and enclosed patio. The strange part was they called earlier in the day to ask if we preferred indoor or out and I said inside. Again outside worked fine just set different expectations from the call. Food was great, service was good although slightly up feeling, a bit overpriced. I appreciate the creative vegetarian menu with cauliflower steak. Beautiful space, a little overpriced IMO but overall nice experience.
Amazing view with great breakfast to match it. The view was so green with so many flowers and the atmosphere was amazing. Not too many people talk about it but, the music choice and volume was really nice for the setting. I had a salmon bagel and it tasted amazing. There was a generous amount of food (especially capers) that were absolutely delicious.
During the week of 7-31 to 8-4 this year my Company Humana had a President Club Trip to this resort where we stayed 5 days and 4 nights. I must say this place ruined my trip for me, several others, and my wife especially since she had to take care of me. On the night of August 2nd we ate at The Oak Kitchen and I had the Lobster Pasta dish, my wife had the Sea Bass, others had the Scallops and Braised Short ribs. Of the 9 people at the table 7 of us got food poisoned and were hugging the toilet all night. We all had the same symptoms which was diarrhea, fever, fatigue, and body aches. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life and to be food poisoned at such an expensive resort and on top of that during a company trip you worked hard to earn. To have it ruined like this is utterly unacceptable and my poor wife had to call for a wheel chair for because I was so sick and exhausted I couldn’t even walk when we flew out on Friday. I missed out on several events my job had because we slept all day Thursday and up til our departure on Friday trying to recover. And my gut is built like a brick but this thing put me down and even gave me acute pneumonia. I don’t mean to sound so drastic and ugly but this ruined my trip and it takes a lot of hard work from both me and my wife to make a President Club trip. So I feel robbed and angry because we have 7 kids and my wife doesn’t get away often enough to have her trip ruined by this contaminated kitchen. So I don’t recommend anyone eat here. And there are several people who can verify this incident happened.
Went sightseeing in downtown Ojai and couldnât resist trying Yume Japanese Burger Cafe! The Wagyu beef definitely lives up to the hype - it was delicious in both the burger and in the loaded fries. If you like traditional Thai Iced Tea, order the â
We saw Toad The Wet Sprocket in the Libbey Bowl. It's in the heart of Ojai, CA, in the middle of a sweet park. They sell wine, beer, and water. It's pretty and green. The concert venue was comfortable and everywhere you sit is a good seat. Dancing is
We had lunch and were so impressed we went back for dinner. Excellent food, drinks, beer selection, and dog friendly. Be sure to get the soup, a cookie, the Vietnamese cashew condensed milk and fries. Also, be sure to check out the specials menu at t
Great beginner /intermediate hike with a river crossing !
Mellow rolling hills. About 50% of the short loop (4.8mi) is exposed to the mid day sun. Bring water and watch out for Snakes.
Really sizable rooms, clean, and nice bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the front office staff were really nice and helpful when we needed them. The pool was well maintained and the hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking Channel Islands.
