The New Victorian Mansion Bed & Breakfast - Bed & breakfast in St Paul - 325 Dayton Ave, USA

This is absolutely the best B and B experience we have ever had! First of all, the house is beautiful. We had the large bedroom on the first floor by the dining room area. Our room had a king bed and was a very spacious room. Our bath was very large and newly remodeled. We stayed for three days, and we were delighted with the breakfast. Our chef prepared our hot breakfast and served us in the dining room. We had unlimited coffee and juice every day.

Everything about our stay got better as the weekend wound on. Our room was gorgeous and we loved the heated floor in the bathroom :-) The rest of the house was also beautiful, including the outdoor spaces. We loved the neighborhood and the Russian restaurant that was just a few blocks away for dinner. Breakfast on property was fabulous and served in a stunning dining room. This is our new favorite location to stay in Minneapolis/St Paul!

My fiance and I got married there on Leap day and the home and everything was fantastic! The house is spectacular and the owner is sweet and adorable and a darn good cook. Breakfast was amazing and Bear the dog was the best. We will be returning definitely!! Make this a stop you won't regret it. Thank you Whitney and Bear. ❤️

I was looking for a BnB for our anniversary that was walking distance from restaurants and bars and spas, something other than Stillwater. It was really fantastic staying in a mansion in an area that I've walked so many times in the past, thinking about what it would be like to live in all those mansions on Summit hill. The New Victorian is a beautiful place to stay. We were in the cathedral view room and loved it. If you ever stop by (or better yet, spend the night), I recommend checking out the restroom off of the parlor downstairs, it is pretty amazing. ||The heavy mahogany woodwork all over the house is great, I love that solid, immoveable feel to a building. The doors feel like they're made out of ancient oak timbers. ||Whitney was a fantastic innkeeper/chef, she made us feel welcome at at home in her home and her breakfasts were excellent. Her frittata was so light it was like cutting into flan and the toast she served was amazing... no idea what kind of bread it was but it was awesome. ||2 blocks away (through a park) is Moscow on the Hill and W.A. Frost... and other options for night life, spa, etc, and there's not many better places in the Twin Cities to go for a walk.

My week at the New Victorian Mansion exceeded my expectations. My suite was beautiful, pristine, and all amenities were thoughtfully provided. Those aspects combined with the quiet atmosphere and delicious breakfasts ensured that the experience was completely restorative. I will add that learning about the history of the mansion and the incredible restoration process from the innkeeper was the icing on the cake. Thank you Whitney!

Beautiful home, so quaint and cozy yet full of beautiful architectural details. We loved the old classic style, wonderful breakfasts, and the whirlpool tub! Hospitality here is genuine, and it's well worth the stop to pay Whitney and Bear a visit. We will be back!

We loved our room! We stayed in the Cathedral Suite---bed was so comfortable, bathroom is beautiful, and we enjoyed tea at the table in the turret. Whitney was very personable, and reservations were easy to make. We will return there soon! AND, loved meeting Bear, the dog. He's polite and well-behaved!

A great B&B. I loved the front porch and other common areas and breakfast was excellent as well. In addition, our room was quite large and comfortable and the bathroom was one of a kind. (We stayed in the Library Suite.) Thank you Whitney.
