Stayed there four days. Place is pretty dumpy, no heater, and a bathroom you can barely move in. I was too nice and should have complained. Guard your deposit well. My $250 was not returned to accidentally staining a bed sheet. They don't cover mattresses with plastic...So beware ...
This place is a dumpster. I made reservation after reading good reviews about this motel when I couldn’t find a room in a nice hotel around that area. I didn’t stay there after paying for a night without caring about refunds because this place will not cancel the reservation. I have stayed in very cheap motels in my early days when I could not afford pricy hotels. This place is worst than any place I have ever stayed/seen in my life. If I give this motel one star, all motels with one star rating deserve five stars.
Loved staying here for a quick weekend getaway to the Perris Auto Speedway—the motel is so charming, our room was adorable (included a jukebox and an Atari!!) and the manager Harry is a super sweet guy. He even sent us home with some lemons from his garden! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Nice little motel. It was very quiet, for which I was thankful. Seemed like a warehouse district area but there is some decent food within walking distance. Harry was very welcoming. Adult bookstore is right next door if you are so inclined. I'm not but it seemed very busy.
I had to cancel and the hotel did not accept any attempt to negotiate a cancellation fee. I was fully charged even though I did notify this with anticipation. On the other hand, they can and will cancel your reservation without even notifying you in advance. I know this because they did that to me before. Sadly, my experience was not positive.
I'm thrilled to share that my second stay at the New Star Motel has only reaffirmed its standing as my go-to spot in the area. The consistently amazing customer experience and service make every visit memorable. The cozy ambiance of the rooms has left a lasting impression, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of travel. The meticulous cleanliness further enhances the overall experience, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. As someone who frequents this area annually, the New Star Motel has become my trusted accommodation choice. The dedication to providing exceptional service has solidified its place as more than just a motel—it's a reliable haven that I eagerly return to year after year.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this adorable 60s-inspired motel. The motel been family-owned since the 70s and the care put into maintaining it is evident. Immaculately clean and beautifully remodeled, the charming blue room I stayed in was cozy, comfortable, and had an undeniable romantic touch that made it ideal for a weekend getaway. One of the highlights was the small but delightful orchard, teeming with an array of fruits, and guests were not only welcomed to pick from it but also encouraged to take some home. The personal touch of the owner, who was not just kind and friendly, but an exceptional host, made the experience all the more memorable. I am already looking forward to my next visit.
I am really grateful to stumble upon this 50's themed retro Motel. It brings back memories and that really leaves a lasting impression. I was surprised to find that Harry had rooms with a full kitchen, I was so tired of these other plain rooms with no amenities. I was able to cook up a storm every meal because of the kitchen, which I enjoyed more than eating fast food restaurants. The room came with a good sized Tv, a really comfortable bed, in some rooms they have a Bluetooth juke box. A full bathroom and in some a couch, and the most important was how quiet it was, not the noisy neighbors all day long or someone stomping upstairs and slamming doors like in most motels. This is my go to place because it has everything I need. Harry is a really nice guy and very helpful, he is also renting some units monthly they are like a studio apartment so yes I would recommend this Motel, because of my experiences I had here.
