I frequently stay at the Inn when I’m in the area. I love its charm. They have made several upgrades, but as someone else pointed out, the carpet in my room could definitely use replacing. Also, the room only had one window and the air conditioner was in it. I would like to be able to open a window at night for fresh air. And yes, I did run out of toilet paper, as others have indicated. If you are not going to do housekeeping, then do put more toilet paper in the rooms. This is not the first time that this has happened. I would still give it 5 stars and I would stay there again. I thought the restaurant had great food and the service was good. And I thought the prices of the rooms were more reasonable than the last time I was there. The woman that greeted me at the desk was friendly and helpful. And the location is great, right on the avenue in town.
The New London Inn is beautiful. Staff is friendly and helpful. The Elms restaurant is delicious. In the room, bed was very comfortable, but carpet is tired. Bathroom could use updating too. Breakfast pastries were way too sweet. The garden is really lovely.
The Inn is perfect. Delicious restaurant, great location, friendly staff and amazing sheets. I highly recommend it! The mattresses were new and comfy and the lobby is nicely decorated and a great place to hang out and read. We loved it. It’s also kid and pet friendly, a plus.
Only the stairs were annoying, otherwise wonderful! The bed was very comfortable, everything clean, staff was excellent...pastries not good, ice cold. Would definitely stay there again. Parking easy. Nice lobby sitting area. Appreciated extra pillow and blanket available in the closet.
The menu was absolutely immaculate. I could not be more impressed with the quality of both the service and the delivery of impressive food. Coming from a culinary background, I am told the chef appreciates the nuance and finesse of a well curated hot dog, and that is the only modification I would be interested to experience. All in all, 10 out of 10 experience and will offer favors to the chef for recipes
The staff was warm and welcoming, the room was neat and clean, beds were very comfortable. The cookies, pastries, coffee and tea were a very nice touch. Thanks for the lovely visit. The restaurant looked inviting. We didn’t have a chance to try it out. Perhaps next time.
My stay was poor to overage at its best. The inn is overpriced with no services that justify the cost— we had no toilet paper in the bath; had to track down someone in the bar to get a fresh towel ( there’s no housekeeping services); although it has a large dining room, all that’s served is pub grub (how bout a 23 dollar hamburger ?); interested in a nice breakfast? There is none. You can’t even get your hands on a plastic bag to put soiled socks into. Overall, another case of an overcharged venue.
We booked several rooms for our family. My sister's room had no toilet paper when she arrived. She had to request it - Weird, I know. We had only 1/4 of a roll and asked that they give us more TP when they serviced our room and were told that they "don't service the room". There was supposed to be a light breakfast, but the coffee urn was empty when I went down in the am and there were only 2 pastries. The parking spaces for the inn were full of people going to a carnival downtown so we had to park down the street. Rooms were small, nothing special. Food was average at best. The location was good but at the price for 2 nights, I would look elsewhere in the area. Innkeeper not available after 8pm.
Prepare to be transported to another world. The flora we saw here was unexpected (to us). The biggest surprise was a red moss ground cover spotted with large pitcher plants. Definitely a must see if you are visiting the New London area!
Great âï¸ coffee!! I loved my ð¥ hot chocolate. Just the perfect 𥰠amount of heat, very rich and decadent. We also tried a lavender ice coffee. Very nice smooth lavender finish ð. Nice location for this coffee ofcmain street near the cent
My partner and I were visiting near by and decided to stop at Tuckerâs for breakfast, we immediately noticed the fast service and welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress was full of life and very personable! Just by looking around you could tell all the
To have just moved here and found such a swanky and elegant venue to dine and relax at! The top level has a gorgeous bar and stone fireplace. Excellent and creative menu, amazing cocktails. Hands down my new go-to for dining!
This place is awesome, super cool and relaxing atmosphere at 4:00 pm in town for a Dr appointment and wanted something to eat before heading back south. Drinks were very good and it only took a few minutes, the French dip fries is very good. The plac
