This is the BEST place to stay in Natchez! We are in The Carriage House, and it is lovely. It is much roomier than a hotel, quiet, with a beautiful garden view. It truly feels like a home away from home. Tanya is an excellent hostess, and makes every effort to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Time to visit Natchez, and enjoy your stay!
Great location, the bed is very comfortable, and the owner is amazing/very professional. I stayed in the professional suite and I really enjoyed myself so very much. I will be returning, I check out today. I also have to come back in town for work next week and the only reason I’m not staying here is because she was already booked.
We stayed in the Carriage House behind the main house. It was very private and quiet. It consists of two rooms, a living room and a lovely bedroom. There is also an integral screened porch where I drank my coffee in the morning and my wine in the evening! The bed and the linens were so comfortable! In the living room is a large screen tv, a coffee maker, a small refrigerator (it keeps things VERY cold) and a small microwave. You can’t store a lot of food and the microwave is okay for reheating leftovers, but you’ll be eating your meals out. But that’s okay, because there are quite a few really nice little restaurants in town. |I will say the bathroom, although adequate, is dated. But overall, the property is very nice to stay in. When you are in town be sure to tour the Stanton House down the street (this property is said to he the carriage house for that antebellum home). It’s beautiful. We also toured the Natchez City Cemetery, which you shouldn’t miss. |Tanya, the owner, was so helpful and gave us lots of ideas of things to see and do.
My husband and I have just spent a wonderful week (Oct 9-12) in Natchez staying in the Natchez Pearl Carriage House. Upon arrival, we found the house very clean and meeting all our needs. The bed is comfortable and the location is so quiet. We could easily walk to restaurants/shops/attractions. The owner is so friendly and available anytime I had a question. We had no issues while staying at The Carriage House and are definitely planning a return trip. I highly recommend this property to any couple visiting Natchez.
Having been through a rough last year, I decided to get away for my birthday this year, and ended up choosing The Natchez Pearl. ||I arrived there and a very friendly woman came out to greet me, she even offered to help me bring my belongings up to my room. ||Upon seeing the cozy room, I was reminded of a studio apartment I used to live in years ago, (which I loved) I instantly felt at home.||The balcony was inviting, the king sized bed was very comfortable, and I had everything I needed right there in the room. A pot to make tea, a coffee maker, glasses, mugs, a mini fridge, a flat screen TV, a chair to sit in while reading my book, lamps for extra lighting, my own bathroom, and thankfully a very well working heating system. ||With the roads frozen, and everything closed, I got stuck there an extra day, and I wasn't mad about that at all! I was beyond comfortable and warm. Not to mention, Tanya, the hostess with the mostess, went above and beyond accommodating me and my situation. ||I will definitely be back! And I'm bringing my friends and family!
The Pearl is a Quiet Restful Nest away from the busy parts of Natchez. It is centrally located and easy to walk to many places. The Pearl is very clean and well kept. Tanya the owner is an amazing host, responds very quickly, is gracious, and aims to make your stay comfortable! We stayed in the Carraige house for 4 nights. The unit was roomy and had everything we needed, a Keurig machine, a small refrigerator. The bed is so comfortable I honestly did not miss my own. The garden was lovely and was a peaceful view, splendid place to have coffee and/or cocktails. You just cannot go wrong choosing the Pearl. We will return when we visit Natchez again.
The Natchez Pearl was reasonably priced and the location was convenient in the heart of town. The room seemed more like a motel room than a BnB. Even though it is called a B n B, there is no breakfast provided. Hostess graciously waived the additional service fee.
We found this charming place on TripAdvisor. We stayed in the Professional Suite. It was perfect. Very Clean. The bedroom was large and had a comfortable King Size Bed. The Kitchenette had everything we needed. The living area was nice, as well. Close walking distance to The Bluff, Natchez trails, many restaurants, Natchez Brewing Company, shops and Antebellum homes. Tanya let us in early once it was cleaned and offered to provide anything else we needed (everything was there - including extra towels). Highly recommend The Natchez Pearl.
