The Nash - New American restaurant in Houston - 1111 Rusk St Suite 172, USA

Oh boy was this place good. For the appy, got the Hot "Wings", which is a cauliflower fried in hot sauce. They definitely had a kick to them. Followed it up with The Nash burger. Meat was thick and flavorful, and the fries were on point with the right seasoning and crunch to them. Then, they had a couple of desserts that had me interested, but was full from everything else, I settled for the Downtown Espress, an espresso martini of a sort. If I'm ever in Houston again, definitely will be coming back. Little on the pricier side but definitely worth it.

Was not what I was expecting. For the prices, the food was not that great. The Green Goddess salad taste like mint (only) the burger was dense with NO flavor. The tater tots were soaked in dried spice. I would not return here again.

This was my first time here, the service was fast and the food tasted good. There is a lot to choose from, there was a lot of variety on the menu. If you’d like to try smaller portions, they have a happy hour. The tables were clean and our drinks were always refilled, the staff was kind to us and we had no trouble with our meal. It wasn’t busy at all during the weekday and there were plenty of tables to choose from.

All I'm going to say is that I dine in back to back nights at this restaurant. Best Bread Pudding I've ever had. Is ridiculously good!!!

Me and the spouse decided to do a staycation downtown Houston and “The Nash” restaurant was next to the hotel we stayed at. When we walked into the restaurant, there was no host at the stand, so we decided we would sit at the bar. We get to the bar and the bartender did not give us a proper welcome and just said she would be with us shortly. She appeared to be the only bartender making drinks and she was also serving tables throughout the restaurant (outside the bar area). Once we received our food, the burger was half cooked and the bartender did not once ask us how the food was. The overall atmosphere around this holiday season was actually pretty nice, but we decided we would not return. The restaurant food was bland and they could serve to work on improving their interactions with their customers.

Well, perfect food, but the evening started bad. We ordered a place to 37 people, kids and parents and coaches, on a friday night, planning to give them letters from home. The restaurant seperated us to 2 places inside, and after talking and arguing, the manager managed to give us a whole place for the team. From this point untill the end of the evening everything was perfect! The waiters were kind and the service was fast and proffesional. The dishes are big and tasty. Recommend it for small groups.

If you in Houston must visit The Nash. In evening booking needed very busy and hot in town. Thank you chef for amazing cooking. Must try devils egg in appetizer, mushroom risotto as side and fresh salad. They got herbal tea selection and the best wine. The bartender was very charming and welcoming person. Love to visit again.

Great restaurant - handled our busy table of 17 with aplomb. Bread pudding for the dessert win!
