The Narrows Overlook - Scenic spot in Sherman Oaks - 13201 Mulholland Dr, USA

Beautiful view, but mostly of people's back yards (some may even be famous). Also, not much parking. Be very careful when crossing the street. People love driving fast on that road.

This is a pretty fabulous place to hike, look at interesting architecture, or give your car brakes a challenge as one traverses the winding paths up and down the hills and valleys of the area. With close proximity to Runyon Canyon, anyone who enjoys outdoor running on a challenging slope or a hike can enjoy some relatively peaceful scenery on the weekends. My Sunday morning visit was not wasted. Over 1100 calories burned and amazing landscape views burned into my memory, the Narrows Overlook is a Los Angeles favorite for me.

Great view of the valley

You know what I've lived in the area for basically all my life and not once have I ever thought of driving up here. Wow the scenery from here is beautiful
