As someone jumping into athletic competitions in my 40s, I'm a late bloomer. Joining The Mountain Project Gym was the single best decision I made at the beginning of the long road from couch, to trail, to now multiple finish lines. The coaching I received was key in staying on track, being accountable, creating and maintaining goals, and eventually achieving them. The coaches are with you for the long term as not only advisers, but as partners for your journey. Along with that you become part of a community of like minded fitness enthusiasts who range the full spectrum of those just getting started, to world class athletes. Everyone has a story, all are inspiring, and you can feel the energy and motivation as soon as you walk into the gym.
The Mountain Project not only helps you get in killer shape, but it's so much fun! The amazing instructors make a usually-intimidating practice of group fitness inclusive and super playful. In addition, I was a little nervous about coming in during COVID-days, but I felt safe the whole time with the flow of the space, mask policies, and boundaries for each individual. They are doing such great work! Thanks for keeping our community well in many ways.
This is the ONLY place you should consider going if you really want to improve your overall endurance, strength, flexibility and power. Every member of the staff regularly engages in grueling athletic pursuits and understands the best and healthiest way to stress the body to obtain maximum results. They don't just preach it...they live it! The members are very humble, warm and welcoming to all skill levels. I'm not aware of another gym where you could be working out next to an Olympic level Nordic skier on one side and on the other have someone who is starting their first workout routine ever and feel instant kinship. There is no judgement or pretentious attitude at The Mountain Project as everyone is welcome and celebrated!
This gym is unlike any I've been to before. Coaches are excellent and always encouraging. Workouts are challenging but fun. There is a supportive attitude among members, not at all competitive or judgmental. Everyone seems to be there for the same reason, to get stronger and improve their performance in outdoor activities, so the vibe is positive and inspiring. The workouts change every day. I don't have time for long workouts or outdoor pursuits every day, but I find I can fit in an hour class at TMP a few days a week. The workouts are intense and well-rounded enough to really make a difference when I do get outside! Thank you!
I love the Mountain Project! Mike, Emily and Colleen are knowledgeable, and welcoming - not to mention fun. Since working out there, I have become stronger in all the places I didn’t know I was weak. Now I can ski, bike or hike all day. The workouts are challenging and engaging. I never get tired of going to a class.
Classes here are excellent and the instructors really know how to get you motivated! If you prefer to attend open gym, they have everything you need. Personal training is also an option and trainers will work closely with you to figure out how to meet your goals.
This place is great. The coaches are all great. I started receiving coaching from Mike after I went on an Alaskan climbing trip where, among other things, fitness was a barrier to getting on the climb I wanted. He's been coaching me for a few months now, and the difference is already night and day. I geek out about exercise science and training, all that, but in the past few years have struggled to put together (and religiously stick to) a training program that would allow me to climb hard while staying really aerobically fit for big mountain endeavors. A few months into Mike's coaching, I'm climbing harder and moving faster in the mountains than I ever have before. For me, the results say it all. The bottom line? Everyone at The Mountain Project is killer, and their resumes back it up. Whether it's a class or one-on-one coaching, you'd be hard-pressed to find someplace more legit than this to train for your mountain sports goals.
The Mountain Project has been such a great addition to all round fitness and preparation for goals outside of the gym, whether climbing, biking or skiing! Mike and Emily and the MP team are very positive and encouraging while also pushing you to achieve your potential, maybe even brief encounters in the pain cave! Its the non gym, non crossfit answer to maintaining mountain fitness!!

I always enjoy chatting with the people here. Authentic, super friendly bunch and, oh yeah, the best Americano around. My kids like Nexus for their fancy drinks too. We like to cruise through on the way to work and school!
I visited here from out of town and was very pleased with the vigour of the classes and the friendliness of the teachers. The studio was also the cleanest yoga studio I've ever been in which was greatly appreciated. This was the first time I've ever
This food smacked on all levels - Low Key! Pun intended. Lol. We thoroughly enjoyed (and devoured) our simple, delicious, and made to order breakfast sandwich/burrito. Great service, menu variety, quick turnaround, and central parking area location.
I absolutely loved the smoothie bowls ð¤¤ð¥¤. Granola with fruit ð and other toppings are excellent for a hot summer's day. My fav flavor is their Hyalite (of my day) bowl. Great for a meal or a sweet treat!
This was our second time staying at Fox Hollow. First visit, we stayed upstairs. Wonder little room with an oversized bath tub. All the amenities you need for a nice stay in the Bozeman area. Our most recent visit, we stayed in the larger bottom f
This was a pleasant surprise. We were on our way to Palisades Falls when we came across Hyalite Reservoir. We had to stop and enjoy the view. There are several hikes. We had some snow to contend with but again - loved the view!
Great park close to town! My son had a ball on the slides, climbing walls, and various swings. *Also most of the park structures are under the big cottonwood trees so there is plenty of shade, which is nice.
Great location, awesome beer selection. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and well-educated on the current brews. I stopped in recently to support a local organization (the brewery was donating proceeds from that night's sales for a good cause
Great little shop. Quaint and quiet. So many flavors and varieties of ice cream. I tried their Mangonada and it was DELICIOUS! If you want to try something different, then support local!
