The food was absolutely fantastic! I was afraid that the sauce on the chicken would be too hot, but it was just perfect. This was easily one of the best meals that I’ve had in a while. Our waiter was extremely kind, but we didn’t see him much. We always had what we needed, however, by asking the other wait staff as they passed by. It was a busy time of day, so parking was a bit of a challenge. We parked a couple of blocks away, but the weather was beautiful so we didn’t mind walking. I LOVED the food and will definitely be back!

We loved the food here! We checked out this place while we were looking for something to eat for dinner. Loved the pulled pork tacos, the delicious butter cake desert, and refreshing drinks! Place was an easy walking distance from the main area too. The staff and atmosphere was also excellent! Plenty of free for all seating indoors and outdoors as well. A must try!

This was my first time in Houston. This was also the first restaurant that I chose when I arrived. I was actually excited to try their old fashioned cocktail and the fried catfish, however the server recommended the brisket sandwich. We also ordered the wings for an appetizer. Honestly for me the wings were the best part. Great flavor and crispy. The brisket for me was dry and overcooked. It came with fresh cut fries that were nicely prepared and tasted great. The service was excellent and both the old fashioned and peach tea cocktails were great! I would come back again just to give another dish a try, but not for the brisket. The service saved the day for me.

We took snacks from the Happy Hour Menu. Mo-Fr 3pm -6 pm The food was absolutely amazing. Pulled Pork Sliders and Chicken Wings turned out to be much better then "normal" classics. Seems they use selfmade sauces. Great beer and Cocktail Menu as well.

The husband and I decided to come here last night and we are so glad we did! When you walk you, there's a sign telling you to seat yourself, so we did. I do not recall our server's name, but we had a couple of different people stop by while we were there and they were all so helpful! For starters, I ordered the Southern Old Fashioned, it was really good and just what I needed to warm my innards on a chilly night. Husband got the Midnight Mule, and he commented how good it was and it really gave him a buzz (maybe because it was strong, maybe because he hadn't eaten since breakfast, or maybe both?). We were going to get appy's, but our server did state they are all large portions, so we skipped it sine it was just the two of us. For my entree, I ordered the Tuscan Chicken. It was so tasty with fresh veggies, goat cheese and a terrific lemon butter sauce. Husband ordered the chicken blackened fettuccine and he really enjoyed it, although he felt it needed 4 pieces of garlic bread, not 2. He did request more and our server gladly obliged. Our entrees came out super fast, which was awesome! We did also get the banana pudding for dessert, which was really tasty but a bit difficult to get out of the big mason jar. Overall, this was a great meal and we are looking forward to coming back.

We took some brisket nachos for an appetizer, a fish po' boy sandwich, and a mushroom Alfredo chicken fettuccine. The nachos are not on chips you would expect. They were like Lay's chips but super thick! The portion size was HUGE. This was too much for 2 people. The po' boy was DRY and lacking flavor! My mushroom fettuccine was just DELICIOUS! This is a bar/food place, so it was a bit loud for our liking, and drunk customers made it worse.

Enormous portions on the appetizers. I ordered the brisket nachos and my plate was fit for a party of 5. My friends say that the shrimp poboy was tasty as well as the chicken enchiladas. It’s bar food so I would not say that it’s top tier. The service was wonky, never got my water refilled or offered another cocktail when I finished my drink. Also visited on a Saturday so that may have effected the service but our waitress didn’t seem busy.

Came here after an orchestral concert. I ordered the brisket nachos and It was good. The food was not as temperature hot as I would have liked and the chips did get soggy very quickly. Also, the server was multitasking beyond a reasonable limit and neglected our table for a long while. I would not go out of my way to visit here but if i am in the area then sure!
