Love this place. Good deal on drinks. Great service. Hoagieville Cheese fries. What more could you ask for?
We visited for an adult birthday dinner. My observations: • Seating was immediate. • The menu selection was great. • The service was attentive and accurate. • My steak lacked flavor, however everything else was delicious. ● What made the evening, was our server Brandon! His attentiveness, great attitude, and entertaining sense of humor crowned the experience!
The food was delicious. There is a good variety of choices and also, portion options. Some of our party were big eaters, and a couple wanted smaller portions. The menu had both options 😋! The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. We really enjoyed the meal. One drawback was the mixed drink I ordered... it was not good. The way it was mixed caused it to have an unpleasant texture. I told the waitress and I ordered water. Next time, I will stick with a soda or water.
The menu looked awesome, but food was overcooked and service was below subpar! The food tasted okay, and I wasn't really displeased with it, but the service when our original waiter left was pretty much nonexistent! Our drinks stayed empty after our first round and it took forever to ask us if we wanted refills, which we ordered but cashed out before they arrived after waiting n g almost 10 minutes!
We had a mostly nice experience here. Very spacious, tons of tables (high and low tops) booth and bar seating. We waited longer than I expected for the hostess to seat us so we headed to the bar. The bar tenders greeted us right away, took our drink right away and gave us menus. We got the drinks super fast. We ordered the calamari and plain cheese curds for apps. The calamari was delicious. Real calamari, tentacles and wide cut rings in a flavorful crispy breading. Served with a lemon wedge, and tarter sauce with an added dollop of sriracha. We were mistakenly served the carmel bacon cheese curds instead of the plan. We agreed to keep them, as not to be nitpicky, but we didn't enjoy them. They were too sweet for our preference. Additional note, the carmel is very maple flavor forward. I had the mini gyro tacos. Yes they are small but they give you 4. I was stuffed after eating 2. They were amazing! So much feta, tomato, onion, and a small amount of lettuce. I'm always happy when the lettuce is minimal. The tzatziki sauce had great cucumber flavor and was seasoned well. The gyro meat had that perfect gyro flavor and was super tender. My husband had the Ruben sandwich with clam chowder side. The soup was great. Big chunks of potato and clam meat. The Ruben was good as well. The corned beef had great flavor, melty cheese and grilled sour kraut on toasted rye bread. The menu is huge! Full wine list page, full beer list page, and 8 full pages of food choices. Absolutely enormous, but everything offered looked delicious. All the other patrons were much older than us (55+) but that may just be the time we chose to eat there. There was a couple across the bar from us that just kept staring at us the entire time. Made us really uncomfortable, but we survived. Lol We will definitely go again. My husband wants to try everything. 4 cocktails, 3 appetizers, and 1 entree - $100 (not including tip)
Normally I wouldn't write this long of a review but I feel this particular experience warrants it. We went to the Montana club to celebrate a Birthday dinner recently. We ordered an appetizer and three entrees. Shortly thereafter we notified the waitress of the birthday since they offer a discount for the person celebrating a birthday. We were assured that the appropriate discount would be applied to their meal. Our side salads and appetizer came first and overall were decent. We had ordered the BBQ chicken flatbread as the appetizer and it was decent overall, it really didn't have a strong flavor and was a little bland but quite edible. I'd like to say I tried all three dishes and agree with my companions' opinions. These entrees on the other hand were mostly horrid. This first one was a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and bacon gravy. Where to start, the mashed potatoes tasted very very strongly of garlic and were burnt. The chicken fried steak was just over the edge of burnt and the gravy was disgusting. The next dish was the philly cheese steak with fries and it was awful. First and foremost the philly caused a minor allergic reaction for the recipient. She has a few food allergies including mustard which is her best guess as to what caused it. She tries to be very careful about what she orders because of these allergies and from the description felt the Philly cheese steak was safe. Anyhow, the sandwich was super soggy on the bottom and covered in mozzarella and queso cheese. The queso had a very odd flavor and was probably the source of the allergic reaction. Then the fries that came with the philly cheese steak were room temperature, seasoned with something like a taco seasoning that was still bland. The last dish which was mine was the Cashew Chicken Stir Fry which I can at least say was the best dish of the evening. It had a good flavor and a mix of textures that I enjoyed. One good dish was not enough to save this birthday dinner, so we decided to skip dessert and went to pay our bill. Wouldn't you know they didn't apply the discount on the birthday dish before charging our credit card. Now we have to wait several days to be refunded on a meal that wasn't good for most of us. Overall it was bad service with bad food. Our waitress could have cared less about our table or our situation at the end. I would implore anyone reading this to think twice about eating here.
Great food and decent portions served by quality staff in a comfortable atmosphere.
Disappointed in the filet mignon. The steak was bland and overcooked. I asked them to make it an Oscar filet, and the bearnaise wasn't delicious, nor did the crab taste superior. The highlight of my $100 meal was the loaded baked potato soup. My sons cowboy steak was cooked better and tasted better than mine. I'll go back but I won't order an expensive entree. It's just not worth it. Maybe a chicken fry next time.

Nonprofit community theater with reasonable prices and a strong sense of art's importance in shaping a free society. Well worth a visit. Fresh, real butter for your popcorn, too!
Went in for coffee. And left with two house plants. The plants are awesome. But they are a little expensive. But you can buy plants like these anywhere in Billings

Brockels is ALWAYS worth it. Love this family owned business that specializes in quality chocolate and fabulous caramel covered marshmallows. We moved away 3 years ago and every time we are back in Billings, we have to stop by here.
Beers on tap are great, but the live music here is so quality and entertaining. We listened to Irish music on a Tuesday, and it was fabulous. We are here on Wednesday with this fabulous blues band that invites the crowd up to jam with them! It was
