We loved our stay with The Mill Waunakee! We reserved the two-queen-beds room, which was spacious yet cozy. The beds were comfortable (firm at first but then conforming), guest noise was reasonable (we only heard other humans when they were in the hallway), and the location of the hotel was super convenient. I especially enjoyed having a coffee shop on location. I could see returning to The Mill for a quiet escape, complete with a yummy latte and a delicious scone within walking distance. I would love to see the place during the warmer months; the patio looked amazing! One minor issue that may have been more of a user error than anything was setting up the television. We wanted to tune into the Packers game and found that we needed to set up our own Google TV. It wasn't too much of an issue but if future guests don't have that option, it may be inconvenient for them. Overall, we loved our stay at The Mill and would recommend this adorable boutique hotel to anyone who ventures north to Waunakee.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Mill Boutique Hotel. We liked the self check-in and the secure code for the door. We felt safe and at home in this lovely renovated space. The window treatments did not keep the sunlight out in the morning and also covers the heat register. The room was inviting and cozy as was the commons area to sit and chat. We would definitely recommend and stay in the future! Be aware that I did not see an elevator, so be ready to climb some stairs! It was also nice to see the owners present and available. They were welcoming and took time to say hello when we recognized their faces from the picture and we initiated the conversation. The restaurant below left us thinking that there could be some improvement. It was quite pricey for the quantity and quality of the food. I ordered overnight oats which was handed to me in a plastic cup while my husband waited about 20 minutes for his breakfast sandwich that was not very good as far as taste. For dinner, my quinoa bowl was bland. I guess I thought that it would come with a dressing? My husband's smash burger was delicious! I realize this quaint coffee place is a draw for the younger crowd, so the music was something we had never heard, but not harsh by any means.

The Mill in Waunakee is a cute boutique hotel. My family of four stayed here for a local wedding. It was nicely designed with modern decor. The beds were comfortable. The room was quiet, despite there being a coffee shop downstairs. Check in and out was simple and done via text/email. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Waunakee it really growing and this adorable boutique hotel makes Waunakee a perfect overnight destination. We loved seeing the history of the old Waunakee Mill transformed into a beautiful hotel. The interior was one of my favorite parts- its both rustic and modern. Located just beneath the hotel is the cutest Grace coffee shop. This Grace location serves more meal options like smash burgers, wings, and cocktails which makes it a perfect happy hour or early dinner spot. The back patio, fire pits and grass turf are a perfect way to spend an afternoon or early evening this fall. Waunakee also has So many fun walkable spots along the Main Street and it’s only getting better. Be sure to add this perfect stay-cation spot to your list!

The hotel is beautifully done. The rooms were comfortable and quiet! The management worked with us to help schedule our visit which we very much appreciated. I had worked in The Mill when it first opened as Millhouse Quilts and it was wonderful to see what a beautiful job the new owners have done to renovate this historic building into a coffee shop and inn!

The Mill exceeded my expectations! The rooms were very well appointed, clean, and nicely designed. The hotel is in walking distance to local dive bars, a brewery and wine bar, and restaurants. They also have a very cute cafe on-site. I would definitely recommend anyone stay here if they are going to Madison or Waunakee.

Very cute! Great attention to detail. The location is perfect, centrally located to everything downtown. Check in was extremely easy and they were so accommodating when I asked to switch rooms prior to arrival. Cute coffee shop downstairs as well! I had a great stay!

Wonderful small hotel! While there isn't any staff present in the building, I felt that I could reach out via text if there was anything I needed. The room was immaculate, nicely decorated, quiet, and a nice size. Having an excellent coffee shop on the first floor that also offered food items was very beneficial.
