I train almost 15 years with theMichigan Center for capoeira.Beautiful fitness, beautiful environment, beautiful music, and now we have the kids next generation to keep going . Highly recommend. COME JOIN US.
I believe, the only Capoiera studio in the area. Baz’s studio also offers Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and regular exercise classes for adults, which I also joined.
My son loves Capoeira. His classes are great with wonderful kids and he also has adult capoeira classes as well. The Capoiera community is very supportive and friendly environment. Don’t quote me on this but I believe he offers a free one week introductory classes for you to try and decide.
Try it! Won’t regret it!
The space is beautiful and very clean. The owner and instructors are kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. My son has really enjoyed his classes with Baz and it is a great practice physically and mentally. Highly recommend!
Fantastic place, great community of people very open and accepting. Capoeira has been very helpful with my mental health through physical training and song, hard to explain, its just very positive. Baz is a great teacher and everyone is very nice!
Been taking classes for almost 8 years! Most unique art I’ve ever experienced, amazing workout and such a warm community with a diverse group of people. Baz is also one of the best teachers I know.

Very awesome place like my happy place other than nature. The community here is really great and capoeira moves your body and works out all the muscles. Very cohesive and well taught. One of the best facilities in Michigan.

This is a great park with a few options for different pathways. Not huge or long, but lovely, tall trees with some ups and downs. Good for a quick hike or go round a few times for longer.
