This restaurant is clean and organized. From a food perspective, perhaps I expected too much or I ordered the wrong thing. My teens love this place. I ordered a BBQ bacon cheeseburger and it was mediocre at best. The BBQ sauce is WAY too sweet and the bacon wasn’t cooked nearly enough. The fries were good. My daughter liked her Mac and Cheese. I really liked the pickles. I guess overall is was OK, but I’d go to In-N-Out over The Melt any day of the week.
First time eating here and I must say it was really good. I ordered the Three Cheese grilled cheese sandwich it was really good. As simple as it was I didn't expect much but it was really really good. I also ordered the garlic parmesan fries and those are really good. Best fries and Grilled cheese I have ever had! If you're thinking about trying this place I would say Do it! Oh I can't forget about the great customer service.
The worst thing about Palo Alto is all the crazyass plastic mirror kissers that only care about themselves, what kind of car they drive, where they shop, where they live, what school they went to, hell the list goes on and on. But......there's a good side to Palo Alto too, they've got The Melt! Perhaps the best place on the planet to get a grilled cheese sandwich. Today I got the grilled Virginia ham with Petit d' Affinois Double Cream cheese, and all I can say is WOW! It was spectacular! ☆☆☆☆☆
Wonderful atmosphere! Well maintained restrooms! Friendly and patient staff! We stopped after a concert and had a burger, cheese melt with bacon and the amazing garlic fries! I highly recommend this place! It hits the munchy spot! And the Mac and cheese. Oh wow. You have to try it.
I found my new guilty pleasure restaurant! Got a Macdaddy and everything about it was absolute perfection. Flavorful mac & cheese, melty stretchy cheese, salty bacon, and crispy bread. Adding tomatoes made it feel like a classic grilled cheese and tomato soup experience. Pro tip: Get a fizzy drink along with your order otherwise you will be fighting with the grease for the rest of the day.
Got the sweet potato fries and a strawberry milkshake. The strawberry milkshake was good, but had some very large strawberry chunks that might be a bit dangerous if you are drinking the milkshake too quickly or lodge one into the straw and try to get it out. The sweet potato fries were burnt, very thin, and had little flavor. The hand sanitizer dispensers were all empty as well and there is very limited bathroom space. However, they can handle large crowds late and night and have a good app and rewards program.
Easy order through Kiosks, modern design and atmosphere. Open till 2am! I went there at 1am for a quick bite for the first time. I ordered the BBQ Bacon burger with Garlic Fries and Strawberry Lemonade. No complaints. Fresh tasting, Juicy, melts in your mouth. The service was quick, also having a soda fountain area for refills. Well worth the cost.
I’m a regular here and have been meaning to post a review for a long time. I love this place! The food is the perfect guilty pleasure meal. I rotate between the BBQ chicken melt, the egg in a hole, and the garlic bacon chicken Mac and cheese (try this one with breadcrumbs!). The strawberry lemonade, the tomato soup, the fries, and the shakes are also amazing, and I love that their fountain drinks are from a local company and use real sugar! The staff is so nice, too! I’ll sometimes walk past the restaurant on my way to a different store and I always get a wave and a smile if I see someone who’s helped me before. The Melt is a can’t-miss if you’re at the shopping center or need a 2am Doordash pick-me-up. 10/10 recommend!
Training at Palo Alto Fit has been a wonderful experience for me, and I owe a lot of that to my trainer, Jason! I was intimidated by the gym at first, but Jason's encouraging attitude helped me feel more comfortable. He created a personalized workou
