The Mediterranean - Mediterranean restaurant in West Chester - 150 W Gay St, USA

My sister and I had dinner here Friday night. First we were thrilled with the complementary basket of warm bread and pita, along with a plate of oil with herbs and seasonings. We each ordered the spanakopita appetizer. I’ve had spanakopita several times, but never like this! So yummy. Then we decided to split the mussels over linguine. Deferred to my sister's choice of white wine sauce, but asked our waitress, Lauren, if I could get a small bowl of marinara (my choice) on the side. Worked perfectly! The mussels were tender and clean, and so bountiful, we couldn’t finish! Lauren couldn’t have been sweeter or more attentive. It’s BYOB and we brought a bottle of wine, which was opened and chilled for us. Forgot to take any pics till we were done, sorry! Highly recommend this charming restaurant.

I assume the food here is good, if you can get a reservation. The good folks working front of house and on the phone are nice enough. So far 0/4 in trying to get a reservation day of. We are out of towners and only in town for other events usually spur of the moment. Will update if I ever taste the food here.

Very happy with our experience here tonight! We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were so intrigued with the cute front and delicious looking menu we just had to give it a try. So glad we did! The food was delicious and our server (Tori) was fantastic and very welcoming. My husband and I look forward to coming back.

September 2021 The linguine with white wine sauce, pesto, and mushrooms was good, but a little light on flavor, and was too watery, but I enjoyed it. The Mediterranean salad was so fresh and delicious, with extremely refreshing vinaigrette. The roasted red peppers bruschetta for an appetizer was some of the best I’ve ever had. Service was exceptional and prices were reasonable.

After reading some of the reviews wasn't sure but gave it a chance anyway the service the food the atmosphere was on point the appetizers were delicious get the humus you won't be disappointed also the main courses were awesome Lobster ravioli was fresh and homemade but the best part was the lamb chops a must have!!

I adore this place. Every time I have dined here has been a spectacular experience. The service is lovely, great people who appear to genuinely enjoy the restaurant and their work. The atmosphere is calming and prepares you for a well deserved food coma. And speaking of the food - The food is absolutely stunning. I have yet to have a meal that doesn't make me salivate to my core. I especially love the Pesto Pita, but I highly suggest inquiring about their soups and entrees of the day - the fish, the beef, the vegetarian and vegan options, truly you cannot make a wrong choice here.

Byob with delicious well prepared Mediterranean Food. The Branzino special was awesome. The Baba Ganoosh, Falafel Shrimp, Feta and Olive Platter as well as the Littleneck Clam special were amazing. Each with a unique flavor profile that stood up to the other. Entrees were I'm addition to the Branzino, The Lamb Chop Muah!!! The falafel coated chicken breast was outrageously tasteful. We'll be back.

Lovely family restaurant in the heart of downtown West Chester. The specials sounded delicious, we had the roasted garlic and tomato gnocchi with 2 different salads. For entrees, the falafel coated chicken with veggies and the kibbiti platter. All delicious. Save room for fresh baked desserts from the attached bakery. Best. Baklava. Ever. So good, we forgot to take a pic.
