We will definitely return! Everything about McCall House worked beautifully for us. The room was spotless, beautifully prepared, and very comfortable. The mattress was high quality and very comfy, and the hand wash and shampoo had a very light scent that washed right off — perfect! The staff were delightful at every interaction.
A great bed and breakfast with charming rooms and delicious full breakfast included. We stayed here for our anniversary. We were upgraded to the sleeping porch for one night and stayed in the carriage house room for two other nights. Very close to Oregon Shakespeare Festival theaters, downtown Ashland, restaurants and Lithia Park. EV charging is also a nice amenity since we drove an EV. Each room is distinct and has its own personality. Service is friendly and inviting.
We drive from central California to Portland several times a year, and we always stopover in Ashland to break up the drive. And we always stay at the Mccall House. It’s a top notch bed and breakfast… but not too fussy or precious. The location in Ashland is great, with everything in walking distance. The rooms and the building couldn’t be more charming and comfortable. They even offer free charging for our Tesla.
Arrived after staff left. No one called us back to check in for a long while. Bath wasn’t clean, I wiped it out before using, glad I had checked, had to scrub it myself . Soap scum under soap tray. Grout around tub falling out. Long black hair in the clean towel and a pubic hair on outside of toilet. 🚽 People below us arrived late and woke us. Could hear every thing they said and did. Bed creaked every time one of us turned. Mattress felt tired and old. Never did get the t.v. to work properly.
Lovely boutique hotel, great location that is very walkable. It's a great place to explore Ashland. A friendly staff and great breakfasts get your day started on the right foot..
Easy walking distance to Shakespeare, Lithia Park, and downtown Ashland. Breakfast is very enjoyable and they have a menu that changes each day. The first time we stayed, chef provided a surprise 40th birthday treat for my wife after our afternoon walk. Second time they put roses, wine and cheese for our 10th anniversary.
A wonderful stop on the drive between Oregon and California. Great people, beautiful house and rooms, great breakfast, three reservable Tesla chargers. Dog friendly. 👌 one of my favourite bed and breakfast’s. We’ve stayed vere twice now, and will again.
Beautiful, historical house with super clean and lovely rooms! tasteful decorations. We enjoyed our stay here. My mom especially loved reading the history part of the house. Amazing, giant magnolia tree in front of the property. Super delicious breakfast with fruit yogurt poached egg and crispy bread, matched well with the theme of the house giving us of a feeling of reliving the past. Gisselle was accommodating, patient and welcoming. She made it easy for our stay here. We’re glad we stayed here and wished we stayed longer to explore Ashland.
Exceeded my expectations!! I came for an artist retreat and got so much more! Jacqui and Billy were wonderful hostesses. Jacqui accommodated every single need from planning amazing art activities, delicious local restaurants, beautifully appointed
We had a great time! The theme and puzzles were entertaining and just the right amount of challenging. Thanks Eden for being the perfect âbar tenderâ host!
