Nice place for relaxing and in position for attractions and restaurants in Napili. Nice beach here and friendly staff with resident cats to add to appeal. Beautiful landscapes and pool. Why should I leave? July weather was comfortable for us
This hotel is clean, the vibe is relaxed, and the beautiful beach and pool are right outside your door. The tropical grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The staff is friendly, as are the tourists who stay at this hotel over and over. It is also the perfect place for kids to be independent and safe.
Maui was our last island stop and The Mauian did not disappoint. Beautiful bay. Use of beach chairs. Lovely rooms, pool and gardens. Amazing sunsets. Lovely friendly guests. Just the best. What I imagined our holiday to be. All the essentials (no tv)! Superb.
This hotel exceeded expectations. We read all the reviews so we also weren't surprised by anything. It's located on a quieter bay than Kaanapali but still close enough to drive to it (10 min) if you wanted to. The Napali Market was also a 3 min drive, with several food options in the same plaza. There are also a couple restaurants in walking distance that are must tries! The hotel grounds were beautiful and because it's not very big, it meant we were literally steps from the beach and the pool. The free beach chairs for use were super convenient and the beach felt more secluded than Kaanapali or Wailea. The rooms were nice and we loved the beach views from the balcony, even with our garden room. The room was clean and sizeable, and the full kitchenette is there if you need it. Housekeeping was easy to access. Overall, we loved our stay and it was the best bang for your buck!
The rooms are lovely and charming, the resort felt very safe. But the real headline here, to me, is the pillows were phenomenal. Hotel pillows are almost always too soft for me but this place offered both a soft and a firm option. Sometimes it’s the little things!
The Mauian is a great old Hawaii experience. It's a quiet spot that doesn't have all the amenities of the bigger resorts, but also comes with a lower price tag and a killer location.
The rooms are definitely dated, no TV or tech to speak of, but that's a personal preference item. The sound proofing on the rooms is pretty terrible. We could hear the people in the room coughing through out the night and it sounded like they were in the room with us. Same thing with kids playing outside during the day ect.
We were also bummed to find out the provided breakfast we'd had on our previous stay had been reduced to just a pot of coffee and hot water for tea.
Overall the Mauian is a fine little hotel, but know what you're getting.
We loved our stay at The Mauian! The rooms were clean and we got fresh towels daily! Each room had a porch/patio and it was right on the beach! A very relaxing and quiet place to enjoy your stay!
Only things to note: the office had limited hours, and the ice and laundry gets locked up at night. The rooms were also not very sound proof. We brought a fan, so it worked for us, but we could hear the people outside when the room was quiet.
One of the worst hotel experiences i’ve had. When we first got to the hotel to check in, we didn’t have any paper work to fill out and they couldn’t find our room. We had to cancel an expensive dinner reservation due to the hotel trying to figure out the room situation for over an hour with the security guard. We then found out they already gave our room to somebody else (the guest that were in our room were given the wrong room and were also complaining). They were already in the room settled in and we couldn’t get any room service to clean the room but were told that was the only room available, super unprofessional. During the stay, late at night we were woken up with water leaking from the ceiling ( I have video and picture of it occurring ). We will NEVER recommend this hotel to anybody coming to visit the island.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lahaina! The hotel is very conveniently located with lots of shops and restaurants nearby and the reserved parking is right up the street. We stayed in their Queen City View Lanai as we knew we would b

Honua Kai is a great place to stay. The grounds are incredible. The beach was great. And our room was immaculate. Having pool side service from Duke's was also a big plus.
I visited Hawaii solo for a month stay from the UK and my week-long stay at Makai Sunset Inn was wonderful and memorable. I can't recommend it highly enough as an authentic Maui experience and an antidote to the larger over-priced resorts - you even

I can't say enough good about this small, locally-owned business! My son and I dove with Zach on two occasions and both were great experiences. He was very patient and safety conscious throughout the process, as this
