The Marquis Cinema 10 - Movie theater in Crestview - 2828 Richbourg Ln, USA

We purchased our tickets at a kiosk in the lobby. There wasn’t any staff working at the front entrance… but it was a weekday matinee, so I’m not sure if this is the practice during busy days/times🤷‍♀️I personally don’t mind the kiosk, but realize that someone will most likely call me out to remind me that it takes the place of a human.. The concession stand is still open.. I didn’t notice a lot of choices for candy, etc.., but I’m a popcorn 🍿 eater, so it didn’t matter to me. Plenty of popcorn available 😊 The Old Fella’ and I were there to watch “Killer of the Flower Moon”.. excellent movie, by the way.. based on a true story (3.5 hours long).. There was a problem with an amplifier and some of the other folks were loudly complaining about that.. My hearing was obviously much better than everyone else’s.. as I could hear everything that they were saying as well as the movie 🎥 😇 A very kind young man came in and apologized profusely for the issue with the volume and gave each of us two free passes to future movies. That’s a manager who understands damage control and customer service . We appreciated the tickets 🎟️ but felt that it wasn’t necessary… the three people who were complaining were about to borderline on belligerence about the situation. Kudos to the manager for his handling of the situation and keeping his cool 😎

This place really went down hill and the workers don't do much of anything. No one sold me a ticket, you can just walk in and see any movie, The hallways have had junk/pallets piled up for years, the ceilings/walls/floors are gross, concessions are mid, and it is overall not as great as I want or remember the Marquis being. I don't hate the Marquis or anything, I want them to succeed. There is only this theater in Crestview and I'd love for it to be great. It just feels like they're trying to put themselves out of business.

The people that worked at the theater were very nice and it was very clean and we were enjoying the movie "Paw Patrol" when three separate groups of teenagers caused havoc in the theater. One group of girls were running from screen to screen screaming, one group was crawling around the seats like animals so they could scare people, one group of large teenager's were running up and down the stairs disregarding safety. My 3 year old granddaughter and I had just got back from the restroom and were seated when 3 large humans ran up the stairs. Had Winter (my granddaughter) and I not seated ourselves, we would have definitely been harmed. I got angry and went to the manager to complain. I asked, " where's the security"?. The tiny little young manager, said " we don't have any tonight". Meanwhile out in the parking lot people were doing DONUTS. My daughter called the sheriff's department. I would have enjoyed the movie, had we been able to watch uninterrupted.

This place is utterly disgusting, if you want to catch some sort of virus or disease then have at it. The place literally looks like they had a food fight. The bathrooms look like they have not been cleaned in a week, there was a roach roaming the hallway and mold growing on the ceiling tiles. I guess this is what happens when nothing but teenagers work here without supervision. This place was not always like this, but these last few months, it has really gone downhill. I am sure it won’t stay open much longer. I was on a date with the wife and we were the first movie of the evening with all of these issues. I guess I will be making the drive to Destin from here on out!!!

Love that there is a theater in town!! Wish it was better maintained. Ceilings show signs of neglect and smells a little weird. People at counter were friendly and patient, loved that. Inside theater was clean and movies are very current. Prices of movie and concession stand are really good. Worth going instead of driving far. ❤️

Very nice theater, underused for the size of the community, so it is rarely crowded. Ticket prices are very reasonable. Snacks and drinks are for sale and are the traditional movie theater fare. The theater offers a loyalty program card granting points for every dollar spent. Some repairs are needed (seat arms, loose seats) but the sound and picture quality make this our go-to place to see movies!

Seating was comfortable. Great sound clarity. Bathroom didn’t have toilet paper or paper towel. Movie was great!

Theatre stunk like decayed food. Garbage everywhere. Goth girl at the counter had a blank look on her face... high?? My shoes stuck to the floor from walking over the filthy, unmopped floor. Bathroom smelled like an open sewer. Only 1 employee?? The owner should be ashamed.
