The Maritime by Marriott Hotel - Hotel in Fort Lauderdale - 2161 Maritime Boulevard, USA

The experience that i Had at this hotel ewirds cant even begin to describe the displeasure and frustration and embarrassment as a CEO of my business i frequent at hotels often to focus and work! But after the treatment after spending my hard earned money and racism i experienced from both Marina and the general manager even being called police on for simply assking for security to provide a jump service because my battery eas dead. They took it upon themselves to call police on me lied and said it was a donestic dispute to get them there faster to try and kick me off the premises for literally asking for security. I will never ever stay at this location again. And if you are black just be prepared to be met eith racism and then threatened. Thankfully the police were completely understanding and competent enough to see the matter thru and made sure i safely received my jump. The hotel is no longer in good condition , the rooms smell of piss everytime you turn tbe water on and the bathrooms were not cleaned properly. The busiling is starting to have wear and tear. They have a ipen construction sute in tbe lobby that is extremely dangerous for all guests to walk in but they are still iperating business in unsafe conditions. Do not stay here

I wish we could stay longer. We got a corner room on the 3rd floor with lots of light and a modern style setup. Our flight arrived late last night and the kitchen was open only for another few minutes. The bartender was very sweet and accommodating as my toddler was fascinated by the fish tanks and the atmosphere being so delightful. We are going to go check out the pool before the family arrives to pick us up, but we are having a lovely stay. Thank you 💞

The room was clean, the bathroom was very updated and modern, I loved the doors for shower and the faucets. The bed was comfortable, I love they had balconies. The view wasn't the best for the side I had but none the less it made the room lot better.

Not sure why there are negative reviews about this place. We were on the top floor, so maybe that's why our rooms were clean and modern? I have nothing bad to say about this facility. Staff was friendly, and the rooftop was also enjoyable. Don't forget to check out the exotic fish collection in the lobby. It's not a swank place on the beach, but definitely a safe clean establishment with plenty of parking. The $15 parking fee was annoying, but not offensive since we were there only one night.

I cannot believe this is a Marriott property. The place is horrendous. It is dated, dirty, should be either knocked down or sold to another company. The bathrooms offer no privacy when staying with guests. I shared a room with my family and it was nothing short of horrible. The bathrooms have no doors. The water closet shares a door with the shower. It makes getting ready to do anything a long process. There is water marks on ceiling, the furniture is something that belongs in a warehouse. The beds were so uncomfortable we didn’t sleep for two days. The AC is loud and the room is either like an icebox or like a sauna. There is no comfortable zone. I will be notifying Marriott of my experience. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Very solid hotel. You can definitely tell it’s been here for awhile but they do a pretty good job of keeping the place looking relatively newer I think. Rooms were a bit outdated and good amount of wear and tear on some of the furniture but not that big of an issue. The lobby area is extremely clean with a nice aroma throughout. Surprisingly great food for this type of a hotel. Steve the bartender; arguably this best service and bartender I’ve had in quite some time. He takes pride in the services he provides and the beverages he makes. Would definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The check-in staff was great. Had a good breakfast. I enjoyed the view from up top of the hotel. Be aware, there is a $15 a day fee for parking. I look forward to returning to this location.

There is no way this location is an affiliate with Marriot. From the front desk service to the quality of rooms . This place is horrendous.
