The hotel has a lot of potential with its friendly and accommodating staff, spacious rooms, and convenient location near Allentown. However, it does require more attention to detail. The room (205) was quite dusty, and the washroom needs an update, including fixing the non-functional jacuzzi tub, which was a letdown. The complimentary evening drinks were a nice touch, and having a lobby bar was enjoyable for us and our kids. However, accessing the room with a baby stroller was challenging due to the stairs near the elevator. The hotel has a pleasant patio with a mature tree and offers free parking, which is convenient. While the beds are comfortable and the room is well-lit, the hotel needs significant maintenance and thorough cleaning to fully realize its potential. Additionally, expanding the breakfast selection would be beneficial.

Even better than expected! |For starters, the staff are amazing. Gus and Cade (and I’m so sorry, a young woman whose name escapes me now) are SO attentive and kind. |The hotel itself is beautiful. The main floor maintains a charm of yesteryear, while the rooms (I just had a standard queen) are comfortable and modern. I’ve honestly never seen a shower so clean, my own included!|Cade escorted me to my room, where my suitcase was already waiting (I’d shown up a few hours before check-in, and left my bag with them while I explored the neighborhood). |The AC is strong, the bed is soft (I prefer more of a firm bed, but I know I’m the exception to the rule). A couple of warm cookies were waiting in the room. No fridge, but they have a fridge specifically for guests, where I will be stowing the cans of local craft beers I picked up a couple blocks away. |You simply cannot match the personal touches of a boutique hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Buffalo. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and downtown is just a mile away. Great location, amazing staff, and utmost comfort.

I loved my stay here! I am definitely staying here the next time I come to Buffalo. It’s in walking distance to Allentown, and the shea theatre. also the staff was absolutely amazing. So friendly and kind. The breakfast was amazing and there was 2 option every morning. The lobby had really good coffee. Our room was very clean and the Mansion has a lot of history and the bartenders loved sharing about the mansions history. This area is great for bar hopping, great food nearby

Some things were wonderful, some things could have been better. Interesting and tasty breakfast, excellent cocktails, property seems a little tired - but rooms are interesting and well appointed . Some spotty details— ex - housekeeping skipped us one day, I would go back bit would want the rate was favorable - as they seem to jump around a bit. Nice location - somewhat walkable. Enjoyed mother’s restaurant and Gabriel’s fare nearby.

After reading more positive reviews than negative ones and the property being rated at a 4.5, I decided that the risk was worth it even though the rooms looked outdated. Not sure how this property is receiving the usage of the word luxury. It has beautiful curb appeal, and the bar area is pretty. Beyond that this is an outdated property with buckling and dirty carpeting as well as outdated paint color and decor. Housekeeping staff is not friendly, and the smell of pot was evident while staff was cleaning rooms. In addition, we came back after an all-day/evening outing to find our door ajar, and our room not fully serviced, and our daughter's room not serviced at all. We reported this and due to the security issue are supposed to be reimbursed one night on our room only. The bathroom is horrendous with no storage, shelving, or towel bar other than a silly bar stool. The tub/shower combo is something I have never seen before, with 3 shower heads at varying heights and the main shower head with barely enough pressure to do anything let alone rinse out shampoo from your head. We awoke to a false fire alarm on Saturday morning with no instructions from staff to evacuate only to be told later after asking that it was a false alarm. The breakfast was fine, and 2 friendly bartenders Danny and Cade were welcoming upon our arrival and knowledgeable of the area and its restaurants. I highly recommend after exploring the beautiful small towns outside of Buffalo that you stay away from the city. At a $350 per night price point you can do better elsewhere as the areas around the property aren't great either. As a sidenote after we checked out we were told the property was recently bought in January and supposedly they are awaiting news of updating the property.

Wait staff (they referred themselves Butlers) were fantastic! Walking distance to many services. Plenty of parking. Nice place to end the day, have a drink and play pool or meet other travelers. Definitely will visit again.

My husband and I chose The Mansion on Delaware as our venue for our wedding on August 24, 2024. We booked the entire hotel for the weekend and Colleen and her team were absolute rockstars!||The both of us along with our families were incredibly thankful to have had the pleasure of working with Colleen, Cade, and the other team members for one of the biggest days of our lives. The amount of guests that personally came to us to compliment the staff, the hospitality, the atmosphere, and the quality and abundance of food served was endless!||If we had to do it all over again, we would without a doubt choose The Mansion on Delaware 1,000X over. I highly recommend The Mansion on Delaware to any friend, family member, or engaged couple. Thank you for helping to make our day absolutely perfect!

I had originally been scheduled to stay in a chain hotel in Buffalo, but when my co-rider had to cancel, I decided to stay in a more intimate setting, and I'm very glad I did. This was a fun place to stay- a 2 mile bike ride from Amtrak station (easy), and a unique setting. An older building with some signs of its age, but that's to be expected, and it has been lovingly restored and reappointed. ||So many thoughtful touches- cookies upon arrival, first drink free at the bar that night, free bottled waters in the room, large room and bath, great breakfast in the morning. And so much easier to connect with fellow travelers in such an establishment where people are enjoying the journey rather than on business or driving 12 hours a day and just needing a place to crash before hurrying on the next morning. ||The staff were also very courteous and attentive. I was so pleased that I had chosen to stay here over a large chain hotel. Can't wait to bring my wife back here next time we're in the area.
