Early bird dinner 4:30-5:30 on a Friday. Turkey Croquette and Steak are definitely recommended. Fish fry was Cod, thick batter coating almost as much batter as fish with interesting coleslaw, love coleslaw but not this one and thin fries cooked perfectly. Ample portions, great service. Chocolate cake was chocolate, recommend carrot cake. I’m a crème brûlée lover but this was lacking in topping, flavor and lumpy. Would pass next time which I rarely do when this is on the menu. We all asked “what’s with the bathrooms”? There are crudely handwritten signs taped to the door’s warning of construction but each one was a disturbing state of aging with missing ceiling and floor tiles. On the bright side they were clean, but way overdue for renovations that don’t give a hint of being started. Caution signs weren’t reassuring. Very affordable and not overcrowded at that time.

My family moved away many years ago. We were regulars for 20 years. Food is just as excellent!! Interior could use a facelift but you will not be disappointed.

WONDERFUL FOOD, staff was very friendly and polite, quick and attentive, good drinks from the bar, with calm and enjoyable atmosphere overall. I only want to leave this comment for those who walk in, and walk right back out due to the odd old smell present in the building. Hope someday for the carpet to be removed so the smell in the building matches the wonderful food. 🙏

Perfect amount of dinner selections w a couple specials added in as well. Food was very good and a very reasonable price. Nice atmosphere and the staff was very pleasant. We'll be back again My wife and I returned for dinner just a few months after my initial post. Dinner food was still amazing but I did have a problem with the calamari appetizer. Picture they posted on FB looked amazing but ours was not even close to the picture!! Only about 6-7 pieces on plate Back again and this time it was for the Mardi Gras Boozy Brunch....OMG!!! You have to get there if you love New Orleans food!! Food was served family style and there was way more than enough for just 2 of us. I particularly liked the andouille sausage biscuits and gravy and the Bourbon Street French Toast . The unlimited bloody Mary's were ok..juat missing something but can't put my finger on it A MUST for every Mardi Gras

We had a terrific party at The Mansard. I had to leave a review because the food was outstanding and Becky went out of her way to provide great service, even helping to contain the party's young kids.

Lovely atmosphere, great food, tremendous service, we love the calamari. 10/10 recommended

Really nice place to dine the food and service was excellent. We sat on the beautiful deck and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We look forward to coming back.

Attentive service. Varied menu. Prices should be posted for drinks. Will def. return for Weck Wednesday. The lobster fettuccini and vegetable and potato soup were yummy. Lambpops were a bit too marbeled for my liking. Turkey croquettes were tasty.
