The Majestic is the perfect place to stay on the Jersey shore in Ocean Grove. Less than a block to the ocean, they provide beach badges, towels, beach chairs and bikes if you want to ride around town. Our queen bed was super comfortable and the pillows were also just right. The room was clean and bright and sunny. You have a coffee and tea maker in the room but a lovely continental breakfast which includes fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, hard boiled eggs and more coffee and tea is available in the lobby at 7:00. And snacks are available all day long. Trudy is a gracious and accommodating hostess. I would never stay anywhere else. Book early for the best deal!
Loved loved loved our stay. Spent a couple of nights here with our small child. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, especially to our little one. He especially loved Trudy! They provide beach passes, beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas which is a HUGE plus. I know some of the other places offer hot breakfast instead of those items, but I'd rather have the beach gear. In addition, many of the other places in the area specifically say only children 10 years and older are allowed so I was happy to see this place didn't have those age restrictions. We will definitely be back.
We had a short walk to the beach. That was great. Parking was very convenient. The room was fine, with comfortable beds and a powerful shower. As good as those things were, the staff was even better. They were attentive to all our needs and eager to enhance our stay. We definitely will return there.
My fiancé and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Majestic Hotel last night and my only wish is to have been able to stay longer. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay, offering us options for local activities and the beach supplies (and bikes!) available on-site. The room was clean and spacious, and much needed AC kept the room comfortable when we popped in and out from walking around the cutest beach town. We will definitely be back next summer!
I booked the Majestic to host my wedding party the weekend of my wedding. We ended up renting every room and the staff (especially Cathy), were absolutely amazing. They let us use the common spaces when needed, which was huge! The rooms are all unique and beautiful. There are so many different areas within the hotel for stunning photo ops. My favorite was the balcony directly outside the room my now-husband and I booked. It connected to another room and spanned almost the entire front of the hotel with a view of the ocean only 2 blocks away - HUGE because we wanted some of the photos to be taken on the boardwalk, so it was a piece of cake to get everyone there after hair and makeup. We also took a lot of our wedding photos at the Majestic itself because of how beautiful and perfect it was. As I mentioned, Cathy was an absolute angel. She went above and beyond every single second. She was constantly on her feet helping us in some way – acting like another member of the bridal party, making sure we weren’t hungry, thirsty, or needed anything else, without being overbearing at all. Even right before checkout, she offered to make me gluten free avocado toast because I told her that was my favorite breakfast. She was on top of it. She was also so attentive and communicative leading up to the day, including before we even booked the rooms! She let us tour before we committed, then followed up quickly with any questions before and after booking. She really blew my mind and she was just the cherry on top because everything else about the Majestic is so worth it. The Majestic holds such a special place in my heart, I look forward to taking more vacations there.
Beautiful bed and breakfast! Breakfasts was very nice. Amazing location. Lots of amenities including bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, etc. worth every penny. Trudy at the front desk was incredible. She was so sweet, helpful, and extremely accommodating.
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Majestic. The staff was welcoming and friendly and you can walk everywhere. We walked to dinner both nights, and the beach. They have beach passes, chairs, and bikes available for your use. The beautiful wrap around porch was perfect for post beach relaxing. We will definitely be back!
It was the perfect off season place for me to stay in Ocean Grove. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The ocean was a block away and I had a great view of it from my room's balcony. They have a wonderful spread of snacks in the lobby at all hours. I ate dinner at a restaurant two blocks away (Seagrass) and had the most wonderful seafood dinner. I will definitely be back.

Note: As one would expect in Ocean Grove this is a older, restored hotel. Rooms are smaller, lacking in electrical outlets, with in window air conditioning. But the ambience is superb and as hotels in Ocean Grove go- this is a good one.
