The Madison Hotel Morristown, NJ - Featured Reviews (2131)
The hotel is very nice & staff is fabulous! We are from out of state and had our wedding here. Many of our family & friends also booked a room here and absolutely loved their stay. We all enjoyed great meals at both of the restaurants. The food is very good and it's a big plus that you get to use your daily voucher towards your meals. Breakfast options were also good. The staff is super friendly (shoutout out to the front desk crew: V, Sade, Yaritza, John and Drew!) Majority of us all were able to check in earlier which was great. The rooms are updated and very nice. Overall, we all had a great time here and will definitely recommend it to others and plan on coming back for future stays.
I cannot say enough about the Madison Hotel. Newly renovated, it is quite the place. I am in town frequently as my son attends Drew University and plays lacrosse there. I love the new color scheme and furnishings. Please carry that up to all of the levels in the corridor areas. The brown/tan pallet looks dated. Food options are very nice and they now have later evening room service. Take advantage of the $20 food voucher upon check in! They are also dog friendly we take our Corgi, Griffin, there and he loves it. It brings a smile to my face seeing all of the dogs walk through the lobby. I love that they are a wedding venue--there is always a great party happening! The staff are extremely friendly and I will not stay anywhere else.
The Madison is a lovely hotel with a friendly staff. The building is beautiful with gorgeous event spaces.
The service fee on the bill is a bit of a scam. They take a fee and then give you a voucher to use in their restaurant. But the restaurant is fabulous. So you’ll enjoy being scammed.
The service is casual, but good. The employees I encountered were very helpful and friendly. They were running 3 or 4 weddings in one weekend and seemed a bit short handed. But kept their cool and just kept going, which I appreciated.
The room I booked was simple, but well appointed. They do not provide housekeeping unless asked and I would be surprised if they have enough housekeepers to actually clean all of the rooms if they needed too. However when I asked for a blanket and extra pillows, housekeeping brought it quickly.
While I felt the fees were a bit manipulative, on the whole, I liked the hotel very much and would stay there again.
The room was clean and the amenities of reasonable quality. The in-room coffee and tea was not good. However the soap and shower products were fine.
The breakfast was continental and complimentary (although the fee probably covers that cost.) the coffee and tea at breakfast was significantly better than what was upstairs. And the lobby has coffee and tea 24 hours per day.
Thank you to the staff for their hard work that weekend. It was impressive to see how many events they could juggle at the same time.
My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Madison. Our one complaint was that we did not have more time to spend here! The hotel was beautiful, the lobby was an inviting space to hang out. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the nicest I have had at a hotel. We can't wait to return and dine at one of the restaurants.
I just stayed one night for business. The rate was the best in the area and the hotel exceeded expectations. Nice restaurant with good food. I just had a burger but it was cooked exactly as requested. All of the staff were friendly and interested in making things easy for me. I signed up for their membership (it's free) and got a discounted rate. I don't know if the coupon for the restaurant was because I joined or if everyone gets one, it was a nice surprise. I will certainly stay here again and again.
Check in started a little sketchy, but a different associate stepped in and was terrific. Rooms were updated and very nice. Generous happy hour free wine and cheese offering. Walked over to the steakhouse and had a great meal. All this at a surprising low cost. Will definitely return when we visit NJ next time.
The Madison Hotel is one of my favorite places to stay!!! I love the old school ambiance - the lobby is so inviting, the rooms/linens are perfection! The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. I love that there are 2 restaurants/bars in the hotel.|Overall, this is such a beautiful, elegant hotel!|Amy and Scott Doney - Texas.
Stayed 2 nights here for a wedding. Rooms were nice and updated. Location is convenient for an easy drive/uber to downtown Morristown or even a nearby train that can take you all the way into NYC. Only negative is the breakfast area which is not big enough to support all of the guests staying in the hotel. The variety is quite small, even for a continental breakfast, and the amount of seating needs to be improved. I'm not sure if I would stay here again unless I am attending a wedding.
We could not be more pleased with our new living room drapes! Jessica Hagedorn was an absolute pleasure to work with and helped me through the entire process. The quality and workmanship of the drapes were superb! This is the fourth time that I ha

This is one of our favorite places in Morristown! The coffee is phenomenal. The Turkish coffee is very authentic and all of their lattes and cappuccinos are also delicious. Their baklava is some of the best Iâve ever had. I really could not recomme
Itâs hard to find the words to describe how delicious the food is and the atmosphere. That candle you see burning is actually edible ð± and it tasted very good as well. Service was great. Salmon was very juicy and well cooked. You have to try the
