So as you can see, this was my birthday cake. Which I specifically ordered about a week in advance. with that said. As you can see from the picture, the icing was supposed to be mocha. In which case you can say it's whipped cream. And the whip cream was supposed to be the actual feeling. So I was definitely disappointed when I brought this home. I did not check it because the box was already taped up. I never had an issue before at this bakery. now why they only get 2 stars. I don't count the atmosphere. Has been anything that's reputable the service. Yes, the service was great but I got there early before any mad rush hour for baked goods so I'm basing everything on flavor and texture of the cake itself which I paid $60. yes, this was a 9 inch double layer cake gluten-free. But I did pay $60 for it. And it's not worthy of $60 perso the woopy pie that they actually make and have gluten-free in the display case that chocolate cake of the whoopie pie was moist. to my surprise, my cake, my chocolate cake that is was actually dry. And kind of tasteless. the whip cream was not soft. So this cake for my birthday. Must have been made on Saturday or Sunday and set for 2 days in the refrigerator so it dried out. As a result I will not be getting another birthday cake or anything of that sort from them again. now, I also got a few little cakes like the carrot cake and a couple of Cupcakes. the Cupcakes were good. The carrot cake was disappointing and that my mother ate. And she's the judge of those. She said she had much better ones than that. that's my.review.

The chocolate-covered macaroons are the ones I purchased for this holiday season (21 containers) to share with my family and friends as they look forward to the macaroons from the Macaroon Shop every year. These macaroons are the best, you won't be disappointed, and you will be happy that you tried the macaroons from the Macaroon Shop in Avon, New Jersey.

One of the best parts of my wedding was my beautiful GLUTEN FREE wedding cake from Macaroon Shop! They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and my cake was breathtaking — and enjoyed by all guests, gluten free or not! Vanilla cake, chocolate pudding and whipped cream and strawberries!

After many days of riding my bike past The Macaroon Shop, I finally stopped in to take a look around. So many delicious treats, but best of all were the macaroons (of course!). A friendly staff member even offered me a couple of free macaroons since it was my first time in the shop. They were spectacular! I came back later that day and bought the traditional macaroons as well as some milk chocolate covered ones. I even stored the extra macaroons in my freezer to be enjoyed later, so buy extra. If you like chocolate and coconut, go there NOW!

Got our post elopement reception cake from here in addition to ten pounds of cookies. Everything was delicious and the cake came out better than I could've dreamed. Thanks!!!

Been to this awesome shop many times. Last night I was gifted with free donuts 🍩. OMG HANDS down the best I've had. I'm glad I saved rhem from being discarded. A BIG thank you to the nice guy working there. This place is a must. Enjoy 😉

The BEST MACAROONS ever! They're extremely soft and taste amazing with every flavor. I couldn't get enough of them. I devoured the whole box and their other pastries we bought. They definitely deserve a 5 star review.

I rarely write reviews because it’s such a petty thing to do, but they deserve it this time. Put an order in for a custom cake over the weekend for my dad’s birthday on Monday (he gets the same cake every year because he’s not a huge dessert person). Cake was confirmed for pick up at or after 1:00 today (Monday). At 11:00 they just called me and said they won’t be able to make the custom cake that I was supposed to be picking up in two hours until tomorrow at the earliest.
