I spent two years at this property, and I feel compelled to share my experience to help others avoid the same fate. Initially, my stay here was tolerable, but after relocating to a different building, I discovered the unfortunate truth behind the numerous negative reviews. Please heed my warning and steer clear of this dreadful place. It's an absolute mess with incompetent management and deplorable living conditions. I am currently living in a unit infested with roaches, despite repeatedly reporting the issue, nothing has been done to address it. As I write this review at 1:30 am, I am unable to sleep due to a malfunctioning thermostat, leaving my unit at a sweltering 84°F. The discomfort is unbearable, and it's clear that this property's maintenance leaves much to be desired. Moreover, the staff's demeanor is incredibly discourteous, particularly those stationed at the reception desk displayed an attitude that was far from professional. Overall, my experience at this property has been nothing short of disappointing. I strongly advise against considering it as a place to stay. There are far better options available, and your peace of mind and comfort deserve better than what this property has to offer.
I have only lived here for a month and half and it’s already unbearable. If you have a problem with something in the apartment(which we have had many) you have to bug maintenance to come or it will take them over 3 weeks to fix the issue. Our sink in the kitchen was moldy and caved in. Our dishwasher is moldy and can’t even use it. My bathroom sink leaks. Shower wouldn’t drain. And now our heater is leaking and soaking up the floor. They came to “fix” the heater but only changed the filter? Didn’t even look at the leak which was right in front of them. They want to throw all these parties or activities to distract you from what’s wrong with your apartment. Definitely do not recommend living here. Please live anywhere else.
I lived here for a semester and had a great experience. I know some of these horrible reviews scares some future residents away. Do not listen to them! Yes, the buildings may be old and some appliances/ furniture might be worn down but those are just minor inconveniences. The front office staff is always very friendly and helpful (Seun is awesome)! Club house and gym are really nice. I do wish they had more lights in the pool and across the residence. It gets very dark at night since there is hardly any lighting. Overall, never had any problems in my time here. Guess I got lucky with a good unit and a good roommate.
Live ANYWHERE else. I’ve lived here for two years and it’s honestly one of the most garbage apartment complexes I’ve ever lived in. It’s not worth the cheap renting price. The water doesn’t stay hot for longer than 5 minutes. Doors fall off all the time, we can’t get to our back porch because the knob is busted, and in order to heat up our apartment in the winter, we have to turn on emergency heat. They wasted so much money painting everything and fixing gates to get in but didn’t even fix the issues that actually matter. In order to get anything fixed you have to practically BEG. maintenance to come in, and even then they sometimes leave it worse than they found it. Once we had to have someone come in to fix our heater, and then they turned off the hot water in the process. They don’t always give you all the keys necessary to access the lobby past a certain hour, and to top it all off, the apartments themselves are poorly insulated. Just don’t do it. Please. Seriously. They make money off of the rare positive experience here, but it’s not worth it. You have a 50/50 shot of getting a good experience.
I've had the pleasure of having The London Apartments be my home for the past few months, and it's been nothing short of incredible. The atmosphere here is truly welcoming. The moment you step on the property, you're greeted with lavish decor and a sense of warmth that is rarely seen elsewhere. What sets this residence apart is the staff. The team here goes above and beyond to make sure very resident feels welcome and valued. They are friendly, approachable and always ready to assist with a smile. The community events organized by the staff add an extra layer of camaraderie, making it easy to connect with neighbors and forge meaningful connections. In conclusion, if you're looking for a place that combines a great atmosphere, comfortable living standards, and a staff that feels like family, The London Apartments is the place to be. It's not just an apartment; it's a community that you'll be delighted to call home.
Upon moving in, there were bed bugs all around the mattress they provided. Imagine the amount of eggs of bugs that could be in the carpet or closet and etc. After telling the office, which management had no sense of urgency to help, by the way, I was told that I had to provide a vacuum sealed mattress cover over the bed and cover it MYSELF. Otherwise, pest control would not enter my room. Pest control also only comes Mondays and Tuesdays. In which, on both days, pest control did NOT come and my bed bugs situation has not been rectified. I have been nothing but patient and searching for other alternatives on where to sleep because I can no longer sleep in my room (which I still am required to pay rent for) for another week (the office said they had no accommodations). It has not even been a week since I moved in, and I can already tell that The London does not truly care about their residents whatsoever. Oh, and for the cherry on top? My lights in both the bathroom and bedroom no longer work. Guess who’s going to have change the bulbs probably? Me. In addition, when asking management when pest control would come they had no idea (a response they LOVE) and said that there were 15 people ahead of me. 15 PEOPLE AHEAD OF ME WITH BED BUGS OR PEST ISSUES?! LIKE HELLO?!
The London has made great updates and renovations to the property. I’ve noticed that management has gotten a lot better recently. It’s got good bus routes and is super accessible to the campus. You could walk to Kyle Field easily. While it’s not what you’d consider a high end apartment, it’s good for a full-time student who needs an affordable place to live.
This apartment only looks half decent when its time to manipulate people into signing a lease. They left us without a/c for weeks it was frozen SOLID (ill show pictures) , without a dryer SINCE WE MOVED IN we cant wash clothes, and so many other inconveniences. Our back door doesnt open, our microwave shuts off electricity to room C if we open the door before clearing the time (literally how??) , all of our rooms are different temperatures, there is zero air filter, the water is hard it turned my blonde dyed hair orange, it is NOTHING like how they told us it would be PRICE WISE or living wise. Total at the end of the month we are each spending 800 dollars to be tortured here. They dropped on us that we have to pay money for specific parking randomly or we will get towed (nowhere in the lease or paperwork was this in place) There is zero lights in the living room or ceiling fan. I could go on for DAYS. If you are looking for an apartment and checking these reviews RUN DONT BE LIKE US. We thought “oh only angry people comment reviews its not ACTUALLY this bad” NO IT IS WORSE!!!!! RUN.

I am so proud of how far my son has come in a couple of months. Thanks so much for helping my son to focus his energy. On one thing at a time until he has mastered it. This skill has been driving him to complete his task before he starts another one.
