As soon as we pulled into the hotel we were greeted by friendly valet staff who were also knowledgeable on great places to eat in the area. As we check in to the front desk, the friendly vibe continued. We were helped by Gordon who assisted us with a smile on his face and some friendly jokes to welcome us in. The room was nice and clean with a decent view from our window. All and all I will definitely book with this hotel again.
Beautiful hotel in a good quiet spot. Comfy room. Nice restaurant and a small lounge area. Snack bar in the lobby I wish had longer hours. Rooftop bar was hopping on new years eve. Very expensive drinks. Attentive staff. Small but nice pool and good exercise room.
Honestly should not consider itself a 5 star hotel. The staff is ok, if a little short with people. Rooms are nice enough, but dated and a bit dingy. Can hear everything from the room next door while laying in bed, and whatever happens in the hall sounds like it's right next to you. I couldn't sleep because someone was letting their kids run up and down the halls early morning and my next door neighbor kept yelling randomly at night. Overall feel of the room is more like a Hampton Inn. The common areas and lobby are a nightmare with children running loose and screaming, loud bar environment that makes you feel like you're at a sports pub. Constantly long lines at the check in counter, which I avoided by using the digital key in app. However, by avoiding the desk there was something missing from the whole experience, including the opportunity to complain about the stay. The bar also charged $2 per drink for ice, which is a bit insane considering I could have gone upstairs to the hallway and got some from the dispenser and it probably would have been marginally more pleasant to stand up there and sip my drink. The bartender was more concerned with watching the basketball game than serving guests and spent a lot of time and energy yelling at the TV. Not really what I expect at a "luxury" hotel. Two stars for service because the woman running the coffee bar in the morning was very pleasant, as was the valet outside when we arrived.
This is a beautiful hotel with huge rooms, swanky hallways, and a killer indoor saltwater pool. Friendly bartenders, good food, in an ideal location. The gym is modern, with an extensive array of equipment. Staff is cheerful and attentive. Keurig coffee machine in the room was a bonus. I stay here every time I come to Philly and will definitely be back.
I had an event to attend in Philly and was looking for a hotel that was in the center on everything and the Logan was the perfect hotel for that. It’s right in the middle of downtown Philadelphia, everything is in walking distance. Museums, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping area and historical monuments. It’s also easily accessible from the airport and public transportation. |Since being a Hilton member my check in and check out process is always a breeze since everything is done on the app. I check in picked my room, since I wanted to view, I got one with the water fountain and I was not disappointed. The room was extremely clean and spacious, everything was exactly as advertised, the staff I’ve encountered have all been polite and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.
Booked this hotel specifically to experience the rooftop lounge. Unfortunately when I went to visit the rooftop bar it was closed for a private event. I really wish this was made more obvious on the website or when I had called to inquire about the rooftop lounge. It kind of ruined our experience. Outside of that, the hotel itself is beautiful and so well decorated. Staff is extremely friendly! The room was nice, but slightly dirty, the bathroom and towels in specific were not clean. Towels had stains on them. The location is terrific. We ate at the restaurant on-site (urban farmer) and did the steak tasting. The steaks were just “ok” , my date and I were not impressed on that front. Mainly just wish we could have experienced the rooftop bar, as that was the main reason we went. Wish this could be made right.
My wife and I needed a getaway and decided to book a room at the Logan for the night. Once we checked in, which was a clunky process, we went to our room to find it smelled stale. We made an effort to arrange to have a cocktail and went to the rooftop, only to find no available staff to accommodate even our questions. We went downstairs before dinner instead, and were told we could only sit at the bar, which was full. The building and location are beautiful, but the lack of customer service, cleanliness and amenities were disappointing to say least. We are packing up to have breakfast somewhere else.
I want to thank the manager on 01/05/2024 who asked me about my stay at the hotel, and I told him that I had chosen the hotel because I wanted to celebrate my birthday on the terrace (which had been the night before, that is 01/04/2024) but just that night it was closed because they had an event downstairs at the hotel. He very kindly told me that he was going to call someone from security to show me the terrace. Seriously, it fulfilled one of my birthday wishes! I will never forget that kind gesture.
