The Lodge at Torrey Pines - Resort hotel in La Jolla - 11480 N Torrey Pines Rd, USA

We had our wedding at the Lodge at the end of July. It was the dreamiest wedding and the Lodge really showed its 5 stars! We were so impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly, polite, and incredibly accommodating, especially Jorge, Mara, Chris and Vanessa. We really loved our team and were so sad to say goodbye. It's really the people you see who interact daily who make an already great hotel an exceptional one, and the staff made our whole experience a 10/10. Also, the rooms are beautiful, the pool is peaceful and relaxing, and the location can't be beat. We miss our friends at the Lodge already! Thanks for giving us the best weekend of our lives!

We stopped and had brunch at this wonderful little spot. Overlooking a gorgeous golf course, the atmosphere was amazing! The staff was friendly and professional, the food was very good. We got to sit at a fire pit table outside and it was beautiful.

First and foremost The Lodge at Torrey Pines is known to be an elite destination and the views are stunning but when you compliment that with outstanding service you get a perfect getaway. My fiancé and I booked a spa/pool day and our server Talon was absolutely fantastic, so attentive and pleasant and an amazing young man with a great head on his shoulders who will do great things in life. We are so thrilled and appreciative of his attentiveness. The entire staff was fantastic and another shout out to Orin who in Talons break time was fantastic as well. It is because of these two fine gentleman that we will be back and we hope that these two get the admiration and acknowledgment that they deserve as they made our weekend so memorable and we had a blast. The Lodge is a beautiful property with amazing views. Most of the staff are terrific, but the ones who aren't ended ruining what started off to be a stellar experience. AR Valentien is amazing; however, a number of their hosts maintain very pompous attitudes. The food is terrific though and if Tyler can serve you you will not be disappointed. Service at the pool bar and the Grill is sporadic at best. The course is great, the pool area is lovely - but for this price the service needs to be significantly upgraded especially at the eateries.

This was my third time staying at The Lodge. They always exceed my expectations with their 5 star/diamond service coupled with genuine friendliness. The spa is exceptional. I have been to spas around the world and they truly have the best of the best staff for massages, facials, and nail services. Everyone at the spa front desk and locker rooms are very friendly and helpful. I haven't tried their newest spa treatments yet but look forward to doing so. The hotel grounds are impeccable, housekeeping is always flawless, and the design is warm and comfortable. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I was there on a business trip and everything was perfect start to finish . The food happen to be incredibly healthy . I would like to highlight one particular employee who went above and beyond Maricarmen at Spa reception. Not only was she so kind but overly accommodating to me to use the spa while waiting for my redeye. She was exceptional . Will be back

The Lodge remains as nice as it was the first time we stayed there 20+ years ago, the American Craftsman style holds up well, and has been well taken care of. This is a really nice physical property and the staff are more than up to the task of delivering a high-end experience. And the golf courses are also pretty awesome, we played the North course for the first time this visit and it is just as pretty as the South course (also a little more open/easier).

While we enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we have is the lack of selection of menu items at the pool and the 2 grills located at the Lodge. Very few GF options the menu at the pool is totally boring . The space by the pool Spa needs some work very old . Only a few of the water jets worked correctly. Parking is very tight with small spots. Employees were all Very nice. Rooms are very clean. The work out Gym was very nice with great new equipment. The grounds were very well maintained. The Hilton resort next door was scary it looked abandoned from the beach side of the resort. Thank you
