My trip was amazing! I come here every year multiple times. It never gets old and has beautiful service. It is an unforgettable trip which can bring so many memories.|It has a nice distance to Lake George, and has wonderful dinner, breakfast, and tavern.|Every season I come here is so beautiful and I make wonderful memories here. Thank you for being my favorite vacation spot!

Our family reunion was a success. Kids young and old were busy every moment. The pool was great, the lake and fishing were a favorite activity. Beautiful evenings outside at the fire or in the Tavern. |The accommodations were fine. Beds were not very comfortable but they were clean. Showers are quite low. I’m 5’4” and had to duck. Again, they were clean and hot!|Food was good, there are many choices to select from ahead of time. |The owners and staff are friendly and do not intrude at all|WI-FI is fine. But there is no cell service. |Overall it was great. |

Phenomenal lodge. The website is not great, but the location, quality, and service is tremendous. We had a family reunion of 25 people. The lodge is located a short walk (10 minutes) from a pristine lake, which has one side protected by the state. We saw loons, canoed, kayaked, sunbathed on a floating dock, fished, and swam to a nearby island. The beach itself is small, but that was not a problem. The rooms are comfortable and overlook the pool. There is a nice game room with ping pong, pool, and foosball. Next door is a tavern with another pool table and a wonderful bartender, Mychal. The overall service was great. These are quality people running a quality business. ||Every night they lit a bonfire for us and provided s’mores. One night they did a cookout. ||I haven’t yet mentioned the food, which is phenomenal in itself. They cook everything from scratch. ||I could go on and on. ||Downsides? I wish the lodge was closer to the lake. Not sure I can think of anything else.

We stayed at the lodge with a large group for a university retreat. We worked with Denise to design the perfect weekend for our group.||First, we were very impressed by the space and how well the property was run. Before we got there, Denise was extraordinary helpful in answering our questions. Once we arrived, check-in and check-out was seamless. Denise and Stuart were always around if we needed anything. ||Second, we also ordered multiple meals (two breakfasts, a lunch, and two dinners). The food was delicious, plentiful, and always prepared on-time. They catered well to our various allergies and dietary restrictions. The Tavern (20 second walk from the lodge) is also gorgeous with a great bar selection and a big dance floor so it is great for groups. ||Finally, our group took advantage of many of the property’s amenities. We used the barn to host an evening event and the large grass to play field games. There is also a big TV room and we used dining room to hang out play board games. The property is on a large lot so we did not have any concerns about noise. ||Overall, we had an awesome time and would strongly recommend it for a large gathering!

We recently stayed at the lodge to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday. We had almost 100 people celebrating with us throughout the weekend ranging in age from infant to 80s. There was something at the lodge for everyone. The kids had a blast on the playground and in the game rooms. The adults had a blast singing and dancing at the tavern. The teenagers even had a blast playing basketball, volleyball, and hanging out at the fire pit. We are a very large and loud family and everyone at the lodge was so helpful and accommodating. We had the best time. The Lodge is the perfect place for a family reunion or retreat

My family and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my mother's 80th birthday weekend getaway. We had over 90 people show up and the hosts (Denise, Stuart and Mike) couldn’t have been more accommodating. Denise went above and beyond working with me in the months leading up to the weekend. She even went out of her way to help us try to secure additional lodging to try to keep my family on site. The property was perfect for our large family and had something to do for everyone and you could tell the owners take pride in the quality of the amenities they offer. The game rooms were clean and fully stocked with equipment that worked. There is limited cell service in this area and I thought the Wifi coverage was great for such a large property.|Some of the little things that you might not notice in the posting that make a difference are:|They provide the wood and light the bonfire each night or any of the fireplaces on site. |They provide s’mores supplies and even a night with free hot dogs in the bar. |Denise kept the party going in the bar by managing the music and karaoke. ||So many wonderful memories were made and I can’t wait to go back in the warmer months so we can use the pool and lake. |

Had a great time with my children a d grandchildren. Didn't have to worry about the kids disturbing any other guests. There was so much space and thing to do to keep them occupied.

I can’t say enough about The Lodge at Harrisburg Lake. We spent a week there July 2021 for a family reunion and had a blast. The lodge itself is full of rustic charm. The rooms and dining room are cozy, and the den downstairs served as a great meeting place for us. We were so glad we opted for the homecooked meals – breakfast and dinners were delicious (chef Doug offered a vegetarian entrée in lieu of soup each night) and made getting together for meals totally care-free. Denise and Stewart are so laid back and kind and were always very accommodating to our needs, and Michael was always there to take care of us as well. We took advantage of nearby attractions (aerial adventures and tubing,) but there is so much to do right there on the property that you really don’t have to go anywhere. They even have a tavern right there so no late night driving necessary. The nieces and nephews had a blast with karaoke and the rest of us had even more fun watching them. Our only constructive criticism (and not really a big issue) would be that the bedrooms, bathroom, and sleep sofas in the apartment (in the main lodge) are in need of updating. Family members staying in the apartment moved to one of the regular rooms when it unexpectedly became available and were happier there. That said, we left the apartment door open for everyone to take advantage of the extra tv, living space, and kitchen. I highly recommend this awesome and unique vacation site!
