Great place to relax and enjoy the music and scenery. Did not have any any food here but listening to other people comment sounds like they have gooood food too besides the amazing drinks. We had a strawberry daiquiri and a Miami vice… mmmm good
Loading dock ice skating is great. Very family oriented. Toys for kids. Comfortable seats in groupings. Heat lights. Party room. Wonderful food and drink menu. Bar food of course. There are barrels for those who can’t skate well. Restrooms are roomy and clean. Decor is wonderful and sets the mood. Those in our group orders fries, mini corn dogs, fries, ravioli, hotdogs, chili, pretzels, daiquiris, adult hot chocolate. Lots of parking. River view for those bracing the cold. We took blankets for those who got a little cool. Lots of people who said there They go back every holiday. Family tradition. Such a festive atmosphere. Food and drinks were ordered at the bar and young staff delivered the food when ready. Older adults has chairs with warmth they could watch everyone and our group of 20 was not crowded at all. Hardly knew the kids were there. They all safely went to skate, run around, play a game. And found their way safely back to the group. The large industrial building didn’t hit the ability to talk. There was even a large wall of candy bars for hungry skater snacks. S’more kits could be purchased. Hot chocolate. Frozen drinks with or without alcohol and 20 types of beer. The ice was a bit slushy when we were there but it was almost 50 outside. Recommend it gives such great holiday spirit
Went to Marquette Class Reunion here and had a great time! Alton High was also having a reunion from the same year, and there was plenty of room for all of us. Live band only played till 8 pm, but it was good.
Went there New Years Eve. We had a birthday party for my 1 year old granddaughter balloon drop at 8pm Fireworks 10pm ice skating all night long. Wonderful place to go
The loading dock is an awesome place to spend a couple hours on a nice weekend. Lovely atmosphere, good bar food, and plenty of drink options. The music is nice, and the river view is beautiful. This is a rare spot in the STL area.
This place is nothing but good vibes! Food comes out quick, drinks are tasty, there’s a beautiful view. Must try their salsa!!
Been going there for the last almost 8 years. And it's STILL MY FAVORITE PLACE TO SPEND AS MANY WEEKEND'S OVER THERE AS POSSIBLE ALMOST EVERY OTHER WEEKEND THERE OVER EVERY OTHER BAR RESTAURANT AND SHOP IN THAT AREA. NEVER SEEN ANY TROUBLE WITH ANYONE IN ALL THE WEEKEND'S WE'VE SPENT OVER THERE. AND IT'S VERY KID FRIENDLY WITH THINGS FOR KIDS TO STAY OCCUPIED AND HAVING FUN. IF YOU HAVEN'T EVER BEEN HERE. YOU HAVE GOT TO TAKE A WEEKEND AND GO SEE FOR YOURSELF.
You want to feel like you're at a beach bar in the Midwest? Go to the Loading Dock. They have a really relaxed vibe and the place looks great! Plus, they have the old boat house - with seasonal activities like the flea market and ice skating.
It was an amazing experience! We took some snacks and picnic stuff there, really enjoyed a whole afternoon with friends taking sky tour and riding slide and simply enjoying the view. It's less than one hour outside Saint Louis, worth it to go!
What an awesome experience for these Texans. Grafton is always a great place to visit but Aerie's adds FUN and excitement to the otherwise tranquil setting. 5 stars! Highly recommended for all ages to ride the Alpine coaster. Buy the 3 rides...well w
