An excellent place to stay when visiting the area. Old Town ambiance with every comfort and convenience. Loved the interior furnishings, and the back garden for strolling & sitting--including the scent of boxwood (typical of Burlington and the Middle Atlantic region--I've missed it since I moved away!). The immediate neighborhood is architecturally charming and walkable; the nearby waterfront is particularly lovely. The host, Candace, was responsive and welcoming. She had good info about the area. She provided a delicious breakfast, made to order. As I was traveling solo, I appreciated her gentle conversation as I enjoyed my meal. Choose the Lily Inn for your stay if you want an authentic experience of the best that Burlington has to offer.

Spent the night at this charming Bed& Breakfast in an old historical building located in walking distance to the river and local shops and restaurants. Very clean and welcoming. Full of beautiful decorative touches, even an enchanting garden out back and easy, FREE parking. The staff took excellent care of us and provided special snacks (delicious homemade cup cakes!) and a lovely custom breakfast. Our room was super comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. 6 rooms/suites, stairs, lots of old-world touches, combined with modern amenities. We will definitely return if we visit the area again. THANK YOU!

I had a wonderful stay at the Lily Inn. Candace was a wonderful host, she was up early with a good breakfast. Everything was warm and cozy. The house was very comfortable and the courtyard was very quaint and cute. I would recommend this place 10/10. The downtown area about a mile and a half has lots of little shops and places to eat.

Wonderful spot in downtown Burlington. Highly recommend while in town or even for a weekend trip. Thoughtfully decorated, very clean and spacious, lovely charm, amenities (water bottles in fridge, snacks), breakfast all top notch. Easy parking out front and great walking distance to enjoy the small town.

Positive: My husband and I enjoyed our night at the Lily Inn. It was clean, comfortable and unique. We were arriving after 7pm so I called to let them know and they sent me info which made check in easy. Beautiful garden area also.

To start, there was no one available to greet us upon arrival, setting a disappointing tone for the entire visit. The services provided were subpar, and to make matters worse, the promised breakfast was nowhere to be found. Even basic amenities like assistance with using the TV, cable, and internet were lacking, and the staff failed to offer adequate guidance. What's more frustrating is that despite being assured by the staff that I would receive a refund due to the shortage of personnel, no such reimbursement was ever provided. In conclusion, my experience at Lily Inn was marked by a lack of service, missing amenities, and unfulfilled promises. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this establishment, and I personally will not be returning. Best of luck to anyone considering a stay here. I am hoping this will be used for constructive criticism.

This B&B felt like stepping into history in the historical city of Burlington. The host was very friendly and made everyone feel at home. Our breakfast was delicious and the perfect way to start our morning. We loved the views of main street and beautiful trees. We had a beautiful marble shower, a comfortable bed and a fire place. This B&B is located in the perfect spot for a walk or bike ride around a city filled with history and river views. We'd love to come back for another stay - thank you!

My wife and I had a lovely night at the Lily. It's quiet, quaint and has some very cool unique shops. We enjoyed all service at the Lily and the community atmosphere it fostered. Already planning a return visit.
