Best library anywhere I've lived. I love spfld library system in general too. It's such an important part of the community. My husband and I regularly do date night at the library where we look at books together, spend some time reading, then pick out a movie to watch at home over dinner. I'm also really looking forward to the winter reading challenge, I think it's awesome they do fun adult programs as well as awesome kids stuff. Library programs were so important to me growing up and I love getting to participate in them now. If you haven't tried it, definitely do the email suggestions list thing on the website. The list they sent back to me was PERFECT. I couldn't have chosen better books for me myself.

The staff here are always nice. They can be busy and maybe talk less than their other branches which is a shame because most librarians have wonderful knowledge on books and make recommendations. Checking out can feel like retail sometimes. The Schweitzer-Brentwood branch sets such a high standard for loving their guests. Maybe that is why it feels a little less here. I’m fond of the organized sections they have for recommendations and the teen area is fantastic. It’s truly a huge library with something for all ages. The sitting areas our comfortable and the meeting rooms bring life to the community. There is always an event to look forward to. Sadly, the coffee shop diminishes a visit and is not worth a stop. The people there are sweet, but they charge high Starbucks prices for cheap filter brew coffee like you might have at home with a coffee pot and Folgers. They add a few syrups if you want but it is equivalent to coffee at home or a gas station with little success to make it taste good. Cheap is cheap and they seem to just be holding space with no goal of success. Seven Brew across the street is worth the visit to get your caffeine before reading there. It would be delightful to have them or Dancing Mule take over.

I can't express enough gratitude for this library's services. With an extensive selection of books and convenient options like a drive-up window for pickups, it's made reading more accessible than ever. Their online reservation system and drive-through pickup window are especially handy, allowing for effortless borrowing and returning via a drop box. I wholeheartedly recommend becoming a member to enrich your reading experience.

I enjoy taking my grandsons to the library. They love to read and use their own library card to check out the books they choose.

What a really nice space. All kinds of books, CDs, audiobooks, periodicals, material about the local counties, stuff for teens and the younger crowd. Lots of space with lots of stuff. So in and give it a good looking over, you won't be disappointed.

Big selection of books. It's a good place to get some studying time (with study rooms) and computer/internet access. There's a cafe and gift shop. Can also get passport app stuff here!
