Great pick!|Stayed one night during CES2024. We were able to checkin super-early, since the room was already ready. When our room had a minor issue, the front-desk kindly upgraded us without additional cost. No smells, comfy beds and quiet.
I absolutely loved this hotel. I went for a private party and had a wonderful trip. The employees of this establishment made my trip! From the valet to the check in staff to the management and friendly security that treated me like a King. The fact that they are 420 friendly is a major plus for me and the room decor was super cool. The suites were very nice too and the hotel really went all out for the party for the company I was invited by. A little off strip but will be my go to for future stays in Vegas.
DO NOT STAY HERE! I can't imagine anyone gives this place a 5 star review, they have to be paid for. I would give it 0 stars if that were possible. From the pictures it looks like a cute boutique hotel but when you get there it feels like a Motel 6 at best. The location is very run down and inconvenient for the Las Vegas Experience. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom lacks counter space to get ready. There was no hair dryer, toilet paper holder or place to put soap in the shower. The room does not have a phone or cable TV, only a casting option. One of our room's AC didn't work and was blowing hot air no matter what. They do give you 2 bottles of water and an ice bucket, but no glasses and we couldn't find ice. There is not a coffee maker in the rooms. It's only 420 friendly on the 4th floor, so don't expect to get to smoke in your room, by the pool or in the lobby. The entire hotel has a very cheap feeling about it. The hallways are creepy and the walls are thin so you can hear everything going on inside the rooms. I could keep going on but I think you probably understand by now... Don't be fooled by their staged photos and social media. You will be extremely disappointed. The only positive thing I have to say is, they did allow us to check out early and gave us a partial refund. We moved to the strip and we were much happier.
Valet is free for guests. Check in was pretty efficient and quick. The elevator was vintage and dope in my opinion. The room was clean, bed was comfy and had a million pillows. Free wifi, netflix and youtube apps on the tv, which was great for us cuz we were staying only for a night and wanted to play music. Oh and did I mention that I called a bunch hotels to see if I could check in btwn 11-12 pm and not one said yes. Only The Lexi! We were so exhausted from driving 20+ that all we needed was exactly what they had to offer. We got there at 11-ish and they gave us the room immediately! That was the main reason for us booking the room. ||If you got this far reading my review, I don’t know why all those people complained so much. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, look somewhere else. This hotel is 420 friendly, the staff was nice and we had absolutely no issues.
Super close to the festival grounds so you can walk there if you are willing to walk a little more than a mile. The 4th floor is cannabis friendly, which was amazing! Rooms are fairly small and don't have a whole lot to them, but I'm excited to come stay at The Lexi again as they continue to improve the hotel.
During our last evening I walked 4 floors down to the lobby for some water by taking the stairs because the elevator has been out of service our entire stay. On one level of the stairs an employee was mopping the floor and told me it was slippery and to be careful. There was no wet floor sign. I was careful and went to the lobby, upon returning to the stairs I started to climb and mop/floor water was pushed off of the level on to me below. There was no warning of water dripping from the stairs or I obviously wouldn’t have gone blindly. I complained and the employee reported falsely to the manager about the incident. There are no phones in the room in case of emergencies. I did not feel clean or safe in the hotel. There are many questionable things about the hotel that we saw during our stay. I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel even with the 420 friendly rooms. I would have rather payed a room cleaning fee to smoke anywhere else. p.s. management sides with employees over guests if you have any issues.
The Lexi Hotel is one of the hidden treasures of Las Vegas. Formerly the Artisan Hotel, I haven't been there in over a decade when noted Jazz Organist Ronnie Foster regularly performed in the Lounge. I loved the Continental and Classy feel of the environment. Millions have been spent (supposedly) on renovations more than 2 or 3 times over the years as new owners took over but when I arrived there last week it looked exactly as I remembered it inside & out. I remember that the ceiling leaked in the front corner of the lounge back in the day. & guess what? It was leaking profusely again in the very same spot last week. Makes you wonder where did all the renovations $$ go? The bar was in disarray. The bartender complained there was a party the previous night and no one reorganized the bottles. No scotch in the well? I had to instruct the bartender on what a Manhattan or a Stinger was. No Creme de Menthe, no bitters behind the bar. Neither of those details will discourage me from going back b'cuz I have some great memories in that place and the staff is very friendly. But don't take my word for it. Check it out for yourself.
I'm glad we gave this hotel a shot--it is conveniently located near the highway and it's not far from Circus Circus, which is where we were set to spend a fair amount of time during our stay. The elevator was a bit daunting and loud and the DJ at the pool was a bit inconvenient when we wanted to go to sleep, but the room had some really cool things, like backlighting on the bed, bluetooth connectable TV, and a cool mural on the wall.
