I had a blast here on Saturday. It was karaoke night and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The drinks were great and affordable, the DJ was awesome, gave out mic covers to lessen the spread of germs between singers. The crowd was awesome and our group had a lot of fun.
Wonderful selection ot whiskies. Membership whisky Club. Passionate and professional staff. The owner is very kind and generous with his time. Very knowledgeable about all things whisky. Look forward to going back
This place was totally awesome. I have not been in Oakland for at least 5 years and when I went back, I happened to go here on NYE 23/24. I met the owner, who was super awesome, she made me feel like I was family, and I had a blast.
The only reason there are no stars under food is because it's booze & fun only. I know a good vibe when I feel it, as should we all. Legionnaire is the most fun I have had on the Telegraph Ave strip. I bombed the song "Titanium" during their nightly karaoke & still had a blast! You cannot go wrong with Legionnaire; take it from someone who's been in the service industry for over 20 years! Love this place! Went four times in the space of like three weeks. The super friendly crowd and mcs made me feel like a rock star. Huge song selection: a lot of stuff they don't have at my hometown karaoke bar. Some amazing singers, too: every night I went there'd be a few performances that blew me away. It'll be what I miss the most about Oakland.
Karaoke Wednesday - very very crowded, but the service kept up ably and the drinks are great. Security is a cut above other spots in the area - very courteous and pleasant.
This place is a chill spot but the KJs can be a little more fair about the queue. You can end up waiting up to 2 hours to sing a song and see a couple others go up to 3 times before your turn..
Atmosphere was friendly, with the small crowd in the Saloon it was still lit. Patreons cheered and vibe with everyone who got up and did karaoke. Didn't know that there was food being served, but the cocktail were good.
