We go regularly and appreciate the friendly servers and bartenders. The food is good, even with a limited menu. The atmosphere is cute but very loud.
I was so excited for this place to open and tonight we finally made it in for dinner on Halloween. The decor and ambience is really well done and the food is phenomenal. We had the Southern Fried Chicken sandwich and the Pulled Pork sandwich. These were not your average sandwiches. They were top tier. The hand cut fries were perfect.
I cannot say enough good things. Can't wait to come back to try Flank Steak flatbread and flourless chocolate cake!
My hubby had been waiting for the perfect occasion to take me to “The Lazy Ballerina.” Tonight was the night! What a delightful restaurant. The food was delicious and our server, Kristen, was wonderful! I suggested they open it up for High Tea on the weekend. Kristen said she would pass on my suggestion to the owner. I can think of many folks who would enjoy this venue for tea, scones, little sandwiches and cakes! Thank you for the perfect evening before the opening of my play with Sunshine State Theatre at Oscura. ❤️
Really enjoy the Lazy Ballerina. The food is excellent and such a quaint place to enjoy an evening. The owner, Becky, is always there interacting with guests creating a great experience. Don’t forget to order dessert!
We were pleasantly surprised on our first visit. We were skeptical since that location has been many things over the years, but to have such a great place for dinner so close to downtown is great. They've done a terrific job on the design and interior. The only improvement we'd suggest is to upgrade the metal chairs to something more comfortable. We may have to have parties in their two "private" upstairs dinning rooms.
We had a nice St. Patrick's Day dinner. Starting with crab cakes that were super tasty & filling. The Rubin sandwich was awesome! The corn beef was stacked high! The picture doesn't do it justice. The french fries were HOT & crispy. The corn beef & cabbage was super delicious!
We ended with a nice size piece of Irish Cream cheesecake.
Our server Jonna was the sweetest. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was cozy & elegant. We'll definitely be back.
What can I say? First time down in the Bradenton area to visit family and this was the best meal we had here. Great atmosphere and friendly service with local beer. But THE FOOD! Pimento fritters are a must to start. Meatloaf and pot pie rivals grandma’s and the flank steak flatbread was superb! Owners were kind and said hello and goodbye which was so sweet! We will be back when we come to visit Florida again :)
What a fun place to eat at! We absolutely loved the decor. The food was tasty. We wish we had more fries with our burger! Also it took about 45 min for the food to come out which is pretty hard with kids but so worth the wait. Also the carrot cake was amazing!
