Very cozy place. Nice rooms comfy beds and the food at their restaurant is amazing! Staff was great and they even offer a free shuttle service. I'd say the ONLY downside to the room is it kinda had a mold /basement smell when you first walk in the room. The other think is the air conditioner makes a loud dripping noise that comes from the sink in the bathroom due to them plumbing the a/c condensation line into the same pipe. It sounds like someone is tapping on the wall every few min. Luckily the sound goes away when you shut it off. On a side note the bathroom is amazing and has heated seats!!!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We had breakfast at this location, we were looking for dog friendly because we had our 7 month old pup. I had made reservations just to be on the safe side, verty accommodating , staff friendly, offered a bowl of water to our fur baby. The view is beautiful. It was very chill and quiet when we went. The food was good. The wait was not long. Overall great experience at this restaurant 👌

Not sure where to begin. The initial reception was not friendly or helpful with information on wifi or why tickets were given to us. I had to go back to the lobby for those answers myself. Additionally, we were not offered champagne as the people after us were. One of two rooms was not ready which was understandable as we arrived before 4pm. Besides a few minor complaints not worth mentioning, the first room was fine. Apparently my lake view room was getting repainted in part and was airing out. Not exactly what I want to breathe on vacation, but I let it go. The room, however, was completely nasty. Blood on comforter, dirt on pillowcase and lots of dirt on floor (which some of it could have been vacuumed if cleaned properly). Pics attached are just some of the pics sent and shown to management. The room had to be cleaned 3-4 times before finally the manager came and got a vacuum himself and cleaned it the next day. I will mention Charles, the manager, was kind in all of this. The highs were in the upper 80s and the AC in the room never worked. I tried every single day to get it fixed and it would at best work for a few hours and then stop. It never worked at night. The friendly valet, Kevin, (after a hassle trying to get one) set up a fan for me, but I was never comfortable. The worst is that after all of this the management only paid for one lunch at Jimmy's (which was good) and parking and resort fees which I was told totaled $200 total for my entire stay ($300 total including lunch) I have never even received my final room bill for both rooms after repeatedly asking. I even asked the main manager a week later who said he sent it but didn't, so I can't even confirm resort and parking fees were taken off the bill along with lunch. I believe the minimum they should have offered is one night free after all the hassle and disturbance to my first visit to Lake Tahoe. This has been the worst experience in a supposed "luxury" resort I have ever had. It is the first time in all my years of travel to even write a negative review. I hope to save others from having such a horrible experience.

First, this hotel boasts itself to be a 5-star hotel. |From reception to room cleanliness, parking space, and amenities, this is closer to a 3-star hotel. The views from some rooms are worth five stars, but that is it. |On arrival, the bellboy checked us in because the receptionist was unavailable. No one took the time to explain the hotel's amenities. |The parking spots were difficult to find because many trailers were parked everywhere in the hotel parking lot.|Getting to the room: The view is fantastic, but there are no amenities besides coffee pods. |There are tea bags but no kettles for hot water. When we asked for one, they said they had none. |This is a pet-friendly hotel, the pet cookie jar at reception was empty, and the doggy poop bags at the parking site were empty for the whole stay. |When asking the reception about things to do at Lake Tahoe, only one bell boy knew where to have a nice walk, everyone else did not have a clue. |The hotel has no lounge or rest area

I want to thank The Landing for the best customer service they offer to us. The friendly and accommodating staff went far and beyond us to navigate and approve the room rate smoothly, Sam was very helpful over the phone, and incredible in person at the reception desk. I also want to thank Charles and Luisa for their kindness and willingness to help, at the lobby we were greeted warmly and gave us very valuable information to make our stay more memorable. The location is unbeatable right in front of the lake!

The views and surrounding area of this place make it hard to give anything less than 5 stars. That being said, without the surrounding landscape there’s no way this hotel can be considered 5 stars. the rooms and service were somewhat lackluster. Old, flannel designed carpet. No full length mirror. There was still trash from the previous guest in the bedroom and dust covered the bedside tables and lamps. No actual lock on the sliding glass patio door from the unit (which was ground floor) and no lock on the fence that surrounds the patio. I’m not sure if this was because it was a ground floor, but it smelled of mildew in the living area. The bathrooms were equipped with heated floors which was amazing. Plenty of lighting throughout and the bed/pillows were plush. Attended an event held on the terrace and the staffs only permitted about 30-60 minutes to set up decorations, chairs, etc. guests were arriving and they were still setting up in the last ten minutes, although there was no other events scheduled that day. Minutes before the event ended, staff were shutting off lights, removing decorations, etc. they will definitely remind you ahead of time that you need to leave at the exact time your event is over. If you don’t get a beach pass from the hotel, and aren’t from the area, expect to pay $30 to go onto the beach. Luckily we had beach passes. The location Is absolutely beautiful and you get an amazing view from pretty much anywhere on the property. The area and views make up for a lot, which is a positive and negative in itself.

A year ago today, we had our wedding reception at The Landing, and it was truly magical! We cannot thank the hospitality staff and culinary team enough for making this day so memorable for us and our guests. The meal was served family-style, and multiple guests said it was "the best wedding food ever!" Fellow hotel guests joined our celebration by dancing on their room balconies, adding to the festive atmosphere. The experience was intimate, sophisticated, communal, and incredibly special. Thank you to The Landing for all the extra touches and support. Celebrating our 1-year anniversary today! Cheers, Erich & Taylor

The staff, housekeeping, spa and Jimmy's restaurant was wonderful. The hotel itself was far from a luxury property. The pool jacuzzi area were circa 1990. The beach access only got you to the sand- if you wanted a chair or anything else there was an extra fee. You were already paying $60.00 per person per day for the resort fee. What a joke. The "lake view" from your room, you needed to stand on the railing of your balcony. It was a view of the parking lot. The worst was checking out our bill was $890 per night for 3 nights. That was there weekday rate. NOT WORTH IT.

The Mt. Tallac trail is an amazing trail to hike in Lake Tahoe. It isn't easy, about 4.5 miles from the trail head to the summit with about 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The second half of the trail is mostly all rock and is very steep in parts. The

The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
